Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants must satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying admission to DH/MH courses at KGMU. The details of KGMU DH/MH admission eligibility criteria are listed below.
Educational qualification:
Interested candidates should have qualified 10+2 or two years Intermediate or equivalent examination with Science subjects i.e. Chemistry, Physics, and Biology from a recognized Indian University or Pre-University/Intermediate Board.
Age limit
- Candidates should have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission or within 3 months of it
- Aspirants must be medically fit to appear the course.
KGMU DH/MH Admission 2023 Application Form: How to apply?
Candidates can apply for KGMU DH/MH admission entrance test via online through visiting the official website of the university. Aspirants will have to pay a fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST category) payable through Allahabad Bank or HDFC Bank.
Submit the application fee along with duly filled in the application form online only. No application will be received by post. Payment can be done through Allahabad Bank and HDFC Bank.
Applicants can also deposit cash via bank Challan of Allahabad Bank/ HDFC Bank. In case of offline payment, they first need to download the Bank Challan from official website i.e. www.kgmu.org and pay the exam fee in any branch of Allahabad Bank or HDFC Bank branch in India.
After successful completion of the online submission of the application form and fee, the applicants are required to take a printout of the Application Form for further use, sign it in original and send the same at the address given below.

Admit card
Candidates who have completed the application process successfully will be allowed to download their KGMU DH/MH admit card online. Candidates can also obtain the admit card in person from Office of Controller of Examination, Pariksha (PHI)Bhawan, KGMU Lucknow on payment of Rs.100/-.
Examination Pattern
- The exam will consist of a total of 200 Multiple Type questions (MCQs)
- The exam will be held in English language only.
- The duration of exam will be 3 hours.
Selection Process
Selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of marks obtained in entrance exam and interview round.
Counseling Procedure
Selected candidates will be invited for counseling by the university. Candidates have to be presented at the time of counseling on time along with all required documents. Allotment of seats and document verification will be done during counseling process.
