How to score good marks in exam?

How well you act inside the exam hall can is a major parameter that can help in scoring good marks in your exam. Few strategies that can help the candidates in maximizing their score are given below.

  1. Some time is allocated for the students to study the question paper. Utilize this time and carefully read all the questions. Take a mental note of the questions you know and the ones you do not know.
  2. Focus first on the answers that you know rather than wasting your time on the questions whose answers you do not know.
  3. Illustrate your answers with good examples. Including examples in your answer attracts the examiner and can help you fetch good marks.
  4. Also, include flowcharts and diagrams in your answer wherever possible. Explaining an answer with flowcharts and diagrams takes less time and score more marks, as otherwise.
  5. Maintain a fairly good speed till the end of the exam session. Slow writing speed can result in leaving the questions that you know and you must try to avoid this situation.
  6. Do not write unnecessary things in your answer. You get marks on the accuracy of the answer and not on the length of the answer.
  7. If you do not know any answer, try to write the relevant things that you recall about that question. Avoid writing irrelevant answers just to fill your answer booklet.
  8. Most importantly, do not panic after reading the question paper and write all your answers with a calm mind.
