As a public university, Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University was established in the year 2004 by an act of Karnataka Legislative Assembly, but formerly founded and came into operation on 28 February 2005. Headquarter of this university is located in the Bidar district of Karnataka state of India. Since its establishment, the university has been delivering finest education in the field of animal, veterinary and fisheries science.
