Eligibility criteria
Applicants must satisfy the necessary eligibility conditions before applying. The eligibility criteria for PG Medical & PG Dental courses are as follows:
- Aspirants should have done MBBS / BDS examinations from a college recognized by Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India respectively.
- They must have completed a mandatory rotating internship before the specified date.
- As per the rules of statutory bodies, as laid out in PG regulations 2000 of MCI and DCI, the minimum percentage of qualifying marks in the entrance test for admission to Medical & Dental PG programmes will be 50% (40% for candidates from SC, ST, and OBC category).
- Foreign / PIO / NRI candidates are exempted to take NEET PG entrance test. Their admission will be made on the basis of qualifying examination marks as per Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India norms.
MCI/DCI Norms for Medical and Dental Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses
All those candidates, who got selected for admission to the PG Medical/Dental course in any of the medical institutions in India, should hold a recognized MBBS and BDS degree or equivalent qualification and are needed to possess a permanent registration from the MCI/DCI, or any of the State Medical/Dental Council or must receive the same during one month from the date of the admission, failing in which the admission will be cancelled.
Application Form: How to apply?
Interested and eligible applicants are needed to complete the prescribed application form and submit to the University as per the scheduled date.
Candidates can download the prescribed application form from the official website of University i.e. www.jssuni.edu.in. Fill the details completely and submit the duly filled form to the University on or before the due date.
Candidates have to send the downloaded and printed application form along with an applicable application fee of Rs.3000/- through demand draft favouring “JSS University Fee Account”, Mysore, payable at Mysore along with the required documents as mentioned in the brochure.
The completed application form along with necessary documents and DD draft for Rs. 3000/-, should be enclosed in an envelope with super scribed “Application for admission to PG Medical/PG Dental Courses”. Send the same to the below address either via speed post, courier or by hand

Admission Process
Selection of applicants for admission to PG Medical and dental courses in the constituent college of JSS University will be done on the basis of the rank list which is prepared by the University through the test scores and rank scored by candidates in the NEET PG entrance Test. The Selected candidates will be further invited for counseling as per their merit rank.
