WB TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria given below can appear for West Bengal TET 2022:

Age limit:

Age of the candidates should be between 18 to 35 years in order to appear for the eligibility test.

Academic qualification:

For primary teacher (class 1 to 5):

A pass in class 12^thexam (senior secondary) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and hold 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is required.
Applicants with a pass in class 12^th exam or its equivalentwith a minimum aggregate of 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education(D.El.Ed) degree, in accordance with the NCTE Regulations 2002 can also apply.
Those who have cleared their class 12^th exam or its equivalentscoring at least 50% marks in aggregate and hold 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education are eligible too.
Candidates with a pass in class 12^th exam or its equivalentobtaining minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) can apply too.
The applicants who have done graduation in any stream with no less than 50% marks in aggregate and hold a B.Ed degree are eligible to apply.

For upper primary teacher (class 6 to 8):

A graduation degree in any stream along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is required.
Those with a graduation degree scoring not less than 50% marks in aggregate and 1-year Bachelor in Education degree (B.Ed) are eligible as well.
The applicants who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 45% marks and hold 1-year Bachelor in Education degree(B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE Regulations can also apply.
Candidates with a graduation degree scoring at least 50% marks in aggregate and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) degree are eligible too.

WB TET 2022 Application Form

Candidates can obtain the online application form for WB TET 2022from the official website of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education www.wbbpe.org. It is suggested that the candidates ensure their eligibility before applying for the exam.

Basic personal and academic details of the candidates like name, date of birth, gender, nationality, category, qualifying exam passing year, marks obtained, etc will be asked in the application form.
Candidates will also have to upload their photograph and signature into the application form in scanned format.
After entering all the details correctly in the application form, the candidates should submit it online.

WB TET 2022 Admit Card

Successfully registered candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official website of the board.
The candidates must take a printout of the admit card after downloading and carry it to the exam center on the date of exam.
No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall and appear for the exam in absence of a valid admit card.
It is important to preserve the admit card until the certificate is awarded to the candidates.
The applicants are advised to take multiple printouts of the admit card to protect it from loss or damage.

WB TET 2022 Result & Certificate

Candidates who clear this exam will be eligible for the award of eligibility certificate.

Answer- If inspite of entering correct information, admit card is not downloading or the admit card that is downloaded does not match with your details or screen is displaying some errormessage, contact board office at the earliest with printout of such admit card / screen display.

Question 3- Is there any limit to the number of times I can appear for WB TET?

Answer- There is no restrictions to the number of times a candidate can appear in TET to obtain the certificate or improve the score.
