UTET 2023: The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) will conduct the Uttarakhand TET exam to select applicants for the award of Certificate of Eligibility. UTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Basic eligibility criteria for appearing in the Uttarakhand TET 2023 exam are provided below:
For UTET I:
Candidates with any of the following degrees are eligible to apply:
- Senior secondary or equivalent exam with not less than 50% aggregate marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with at least 45% aggregate marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE
- Senior Secondary or equivalent exam scoring not less than 50% marks in aggregate with 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- Graduation or equivalent along with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
For UTET II:
Candidates with any of the following degrees are eligible to apply:
- Graduation or equivalent along with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- Graduation or equivalent with not less than 50% aggregate marks and 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
- Graduation or equivalent with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE
- Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with not less than 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- Senior Secondary or equivalent exam scoring at least 50% marks and 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed or BA.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education)
UTET 2023 Application Form
The UTET 2023 application form will be released online and can be obtained from the official website www.ubse.uk.gov.in. Candidates should carefully read all the instructions before they proceed with the application process.
- The candidates will have to provide their personal and educational details to fill the application form.
- Photograph and signature of the candidates in scanned format should also be uploaded into the form.
- Choice for UTET papers and exam city should be entered into the application form as well.
- Duly-filled application form, complete and correct in every respect, can then be submitted online.
- A prescribed amount of fee should also be submitted with the form or else the application process would remain incomplete.
- Applicants are advised to take a printout of the application form and keep it with them in case of future reference.

Admit Card
- Authorities will publish the UTET admit card 2023 online on the official website ubse.uk.gov.in.
- Candidates can download their admit card using their 12-digit login id or name and date of birth.
- A hard copy of the admit card should be taken by the candidates and carried to the exam center on the day of exam.
- Without a valid admit card, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and write their papers.
- To protect from loss or damage, it is suggested that the candidates keep multiple copies of admit cards with them.
Answer Key
- Answer key for both UTET I and UTET II will be released by the authorities through online mode.
- Candidates not satisfied with the answer key can submit their objections regarding the same.
- Authorities will check the objections made and then release the final answer key on the website.
Result
- The result of the Uttarakhand TET 2023 exam will be declared online on the official website of the board.
- Candidates will be able to check their result using their login id and a captcha code.
- The candidates who obtain marks more than the prescribed cut-off will be considered ad qualified and will be eligible for the Eligibility Certificate.
UTET 2023 Certificate
- Candidates who clear the test will be awarded a Certificate of Eligibility by the board.
- Those with the certificate will be eligible for the posts of primary and upper primary teachers.
- Eligibility and original documents of the candidates will be verified before awarding them the certificate.
- Validity of the certificate will be 7 years from the day of its release. Candidates can apply for the teacher’s post only till the certificate expires.
Frequently Asked Questions
In case of problem in downloading the admit card, you need to visit the nodal center in the city where you selected your exam city in the application form (first choice). Carry with you copy of submitted online application and two passport sized photographs (same as uploaded in the application form). You will be provided an admit card at the nodal center. A time limit will be prescribed for making the request.
Choice for language for language I and language II sections should be provided by the candidates at the time of filling the application form.
You can apply for the posts of primary and upper primary teachers in various schools of Uttarakhand depending on their vacancies. However, UBSE does not grant any employment to the awardees.
In case your certificate expires and you are still in need of a valid certificate, you can re-appear in the UTET exam to obtain the certificate.
