Uttarakhand USET 2022: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria

Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test 2022 (USET 2022) will be scheduled by the Kumaun University, Nainital.  Getting qualified in this state-level exam is mandatory for every candidate in order to apply for the post of Assistant Professor in the universities across the state of Uttarakhand.  USET 2022 will be conducted in 27 Subject. The candidate will be allowed to choose the subject as per their choices. USET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for USET 2022 as decided by Kumaun University are as follows:

• The candidate must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a UGC recognized institute with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for the candidates from the reserved categories)
• D. degree holders having their Master’s degree completed before the 19^th September 1994 will get the relaxation of 5% marks.
• The candidates having their qualifying exam result awaited can also apply but they have to complete their masters degree within a fixed time otherwise they will be disqualified.

USET Application Form 2022

• USET 2022 application form will be accessible from the Kumaun University official website i.e. kunainital.ac.in.
• Candidates have to register themselves with an email id and phone number.
• All the necessary details such as educational and contact details need to be entered by the candidate in the application form.
• Passport size photograph and signature will also need to be uploaded by the candidate.
• After filling the application form candidate will be required to pay the prescribed application fee either by online (credit/debit card, net banking) method or by cash through bank challan at any branch of SBI.
• The application fee for USET 2022 is likely to be changed this year. However, we are providing the application fee for the previous year just for a reference.

USET 2022 Exam Pattern

The Exam of USET 2022 will have 3 papers to be conducted in two sessions. Only objective type multiple choices questions will be asked in all the papers.

Paper 1 will have 60 questions out of which only 50 will be compulsory and questions will be asked from the general topic such as teaching aptitude, reasoning ability, divergent thinking, and Gk.

Paper 2 and Paper 3 will have the question from the subject chosen by the candidate while filling the application form.

Note: All the papers will be conducted in offline mode (Pen and Paper Based Mode).

USET 2022 Admit Card

The admit card will be available for download on the official website i.e. usetonline.com. As the admit card will be released by the kumaun university candidates can also download it from the official website of kumaun university i.e. kunainital.ac.in. Candidates, please remember that no admit card will be sent by post. Exam schedule and venue will be mentioned on the admit card. No request regarding the change in exam center will be entertained by the university.

USET 2022 Answer Key

Authorities will release the answer keys for all the papers on the Kumaun University website. In case of any discrepancy with the answer keys candidates will be able to raise a complaint by an additional payment of Rs. 1000/-

USET Result 2022

The result of USET 2022 will be declared on the official website. A subject and category wise merit list will be published along with the USET 2022 result. Top 6% of the total appeared candidates having a minimum of 40 % aggregate mark (35% for reserved categories) will be declared as qualified and eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.

Qualified Candidates will be required to submit the following documents to the competent authorities in order to receive the USET qualified certificate

• Photo Copy of application fee receipt
• Post-graduation degree or equivalent mark sheets
• Marriage certificate (in case of name change)
• Category certificate
• Medical certificate issued by the concerned authorities in a prescribed format (in case of PWD category candidates only
