UPSC CAPF 2020 Exam pattern
The exam of UPSC CAPF consists of both written and Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.

Duration of Exam: 2 hours for Paper 1 and 3 hours for Paper 2

UPSC CAPF Syllabus 2020
The syllabus for the written exam of UPSC CAPF 2020 will be as follows:
Paper 1: General Ability and Intelligence
General Mental Ability, Current Events of National and International Importance, General Science, Indian Polity and Economy, History of India, Indian and World Geography
Paper 2: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension
Part A: Essay writing either in Hindi or English (80 Marks). Topics will be from modern Indian history especially of the freedom struggle, polity and economy, knowledge of security and human right issues, geography etc.
Part B: Précis writing, Comprehension, Other communications/language skills (120 Marks) only in English language. The topics will be précis writing, Comprehension passages, simple grammar, developing counter arguments and other aspects of language testing.

UPSC CAPF Eligibility Criteria 2020
The eligibility criteria for UPSC CAPF 2020 will be as follows:
- Only Indian citizens are allowed to appear for the exam.
- The age of a candidate should be between 20 to 25 years as on 1st August 2020 (relaxations will be given to the candidates from the reserved categories)
- The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute

UPSC CAPF Application Form 2020
The application form for UPSC CAPF 2020 will be available only in online mode through the official website. No other mode of application form submission will be allowed. In order to access the application form, the candidates have to register themselves only on the official website. After registration, the candidates have to login using the registration ID and password. The candidates have to enter all the mandatory details in the application form after logging in.
The application form will not be considered valid unless the candidate pays the required application fee.
The application fee for UPSC CAPF 2020 exam will be as follows:
For Male candidates from General/ OBC categories: Rs. 200/-
For Female/ SC/ ST candidates: Nil (Exempted)
Mode of Payment
- The application fee can be paid in online mode by using any of Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or Net banking.
- The candidates can also pay the application fee by cash in any branch of SBI using a Bank Challan.
UPSC CAPF Admit Card 2020
The candidates can download their UPSC CAPF 2020 admit card from the official website. In order to download the admit card, candidates have to provide some basic information like registration id/ roll no. and date of birth. The authorities will release the admit card 3 weeks prior to the date of exam. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.
UPSC CAPF Result 2020
The result of UPSC CAPF 2020 exam will be declared on the official website of the commission. The result will be announced in the form of merit list in pdf format.
