UP PCS 2022 Application Form

The details about the UPPSC PCS examination have been given in the following points:

• The UPPSC PCS application form will be provided on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Public service Commission.
• The official website of UPPSC is ‘up.nic.in’.
• In the application form, candidates will have to provide their name and address and other details of the communication such as valid email ID and phone number.
• Along with that, candidates will have to upload the scanned photograph and signature in the application form.
• There will be an application fee as well which candidates will pay thru the credit card, debit card, net banking or the challan.
• Lastly, candidates will take the printout of the application form and save the registration number and the password generated online.

UP PCS 2022 Eligibility Criteria

There are some details about the eligibility criteria which candidates must have acquired to be eligible to apply for the UP PCS examination. The details about the eligibility criteria have been given in the following points:

• Candidates must be a citizen of India.

UP PCS 2022 Exam Pattern

As per the exam pattern for the UPPSC PCS Examination, UPPSC has divided the stages of the examination into three categories.

• The very first stage of the examination will be of Preliminary examination.
• The next stage of the examination will be the main examination and it will have many question papers to be resolved by the applicants.
• Candidates will be eligible for the mains examination only after cracking the preliminary stage of the examination.
• Last but not least, the stage of the examination is the interview.

Exam pattern for UP PCS Preliminary Exam

• The preliminary examination will have two question papers.
• The question papers will be of objective nature.
• There will be negative marking of 1/4^th marks in the question papers of Preliminary examination.

Exam pattern for UP PCS Main Exam

• There will be eight question papers in the main examination.
• The first and second question paper will be of General studies.
• There will be four question papers of the two optional subjects which candidates will choose from the list of subjects given in the official notification.
• Candidates will have to write three essays also in the question paper of the essay.
• Apart from that, there will be a question paper of Hindi language.
• Candidates will have to qualify the question paper of the English language as well.
• All question paper of the main examination will be of descriptive nature.

UP PCS 2022 Interview

• There is no specific pattern and syllabus of the interview; however, candidates need to have the knowledge about themselves, their state and other contemporary issues.
• Candidate needs to be communicative and keep their views openly before the interview board.

UP PCS 2022 Admit Card 

The admit card will be available on the official portal of the commission. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website. The admit card will have all the details about the examination, the reporting time and the date and venue of the examination. It will be necessary for all ten applicants to take admit card at the examination centre or else they will not be allowed to take part in the UP PCS examination.

UP PCS 2022 Result

• Candidates will get the result of preliminary examination after the commencement of the examination.
• After passing the preliminary examination, candidates will be eligible to apply and appear in the main examination.
• Lastly, candidates will get the final result of the Main examination (written) and interview.
