  • The online notification will be published in the month of May and as the notification is issued for the candidates, they can start filling and submitting the application form.
  • The last date for filling and submitting the online application form will be in the month of June and most probably till the second week of June.

  • The applicants are required to go to the UBI’s website ‘www.unionbankofindia.co.in’ and click on the link ‘Recruitment’ under ‘Careers’ page to access the Recruitment Notification which will be as ‘Union Bank Recruitment Project (Specialist Officer) – Recruitment Notification’.
  • The applicant should cautiously read and make certain that they fulfill all the conditions of the eligibility criteria given in the UBI SO Exam’s Notification.
  • A candidate can apply for the post of Specialist Officers in UBI after it is certain that he fulfills the criteria provided by the recruiter.
  • Candidates need to enter the information in the required fields as it is asked to be filled.
  • Candidates will be provided the registration number and a password which they need to save for future.
  • Candidates need to recheck all the details in the application form before they make the final submission of the online application form.

Details about the UBI SO Application Fee

  • Candidates, who think of applying, should keep in their mind that they will have to submit the application fee as well before making the final submission of the UBI SO Application Form.
  • The examination will be of Rs. 600 for all the candidates who belong to the general/OBC category.
  • The application fee will be of Rs. 100 for the candidates, who belong to the reserved category (schedule caste (SC) and schedule tribes (ST)).
  • The application form has been integrated with the online payment gateway. The payment can be made through Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards / Mobile Wallets.
  • If the online transaction fails then the candidates are recommended to login again with their provisional registration number and password and pay the Application Fees / Intimation Charges again through the online payment gateway.
  • Candidates are not allowed to pay the fee thru the offline mode. They will have to make the submission of the application fee only through the online mode.

Details about the Scanned Photo and Signature

Candidates need to have their scanned photo and signature in their computer before they start filling the online application form. Here are all the additional details about the scanned photo and signature of the candidates-

Details about the Photograph of the applicants

  • Candidates should be facing to the camera while picture is taken.
  • The background should be light colored and most preferably of white.
  • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not allowed in the photo.
  • Religious headwear is permitted but it should not cover the face of the candidates.
  • The photo of the candidates should be of the dimension 200×300 pixels.
  • The size of the picture of the applicants must be 20 to 50 kb.

Details about the Signature of the applicants

  • Candidates should be cautious while making their signature for the application form.
  • The signature should be made on a white paper with black ball pen.
  • The dimension of the signature of the applicants should be of 140×60 pixels.
  • The file size of the signature should be between 10 kb to 20 kb.

Procedure for Uploading the Photograph and Signature

  • Candidates will be provided two separate links for uploading their photo and signature in the application form.
  • Candidates can click on the link “Upload Photograph/ Signature” to upload their photo and scanned signature.
  • Browse and Select the location/folder where the scanned photo/ signature file has been saved in the PC.
  • Select the file and then click on the open or upload link.
  • The online application shall be deemed to be unregistered unless the photo and the signature of the candidates are not uploaded.
