School Education Department, Telangana is the authority that will conduct the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 or TS TET 2021. The aim of this exam is to determine the eligibility of those candidates who are looking to work as a school teacher in the state of Telangana. Interested candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. The application form will be released in online mode only. TS TET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are different for both the papers as given below.
For Paper – I (Class 1st to 5th teacher)
- 12th class or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in Elementary education (D.El.Ed). Or
- 12th class or equivalent exam with at least 45% marks and a 2-year diploma in elementary education in accordance with NCTE. Or
- Class 12th or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed). Or
- 12th class pass or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and 2-year diploma in Education (Special Education). Or
- Graduation with 2 years diploma in elementary education. Or
- Completed graduation with at least 50% and B.Ed. in accordance with NCTE.
For Paper – II (Class 6th to 8th teacher)
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. (Bachelor in Education). Or
- Graduation with 2 year diploma in elementary education. Or
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Bachelor in Education) in accordance with NCTE. Or
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. (special education). Or
- 12th class or equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Or
- 12th class or equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A./ B.Sc, Ed or B.A. Ed./ B.Sc.Ed.
TS TET 2021 Application Form
The application process of TS TET 2021 will take place in online mode only. Those who wish to apply can check the complete application process explained below-
- To begin the application process, candidates need to visit the official website and pay the application fee.
- The link to the application form will be available on the home page of the official website itself.
- During registration, aspirants need to provide their complete educational, contact and personal details.
- The details entered must be accurate; otherwise the application form might get rejected.
- In addition to the details, it is also compulsory for the applicants to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
- The scanned images should be uploaded in accordance with the size and format mentioned on the official website.
- It is recommended to take a printout of the submitted application form for future references.
Application Fee
- The application fee is same for all the candidates i.e. Rs. 200/-
Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.
TS TET 2021 Admit Card
- Once the application form submission process gets over, the authorities will release the admit cards on the official website.
- Information about the date, time, and venue of the examination will be present on the admit card.
- It is compulsory for all the candidates to carry a hardcopy of the admit card at the examination center.
- Along with the admit card, it is also important for the candidate to carry a photo ID proof while reporting for the exam.
- Keep the admit card safe even after the exam as it might be required for future references.
