Territorial Army 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates can fill and submit the Territorial Army Application Form 2023 in online mode. The complete process of application form submission is explained below.

• To start the application form submission, aspirants have to visit the official website of Territorial army recruitment i.e. jointerritorialarmy.gov.in.
• Go to the career section on the official website and click on the “Join as officer” link.
• In the next step, you need to click on the “New Registration” link.
• Then, you will have to register by providing some of the basic details like name, email ID, mobile number, and password.
• After that, you may log in by providing the registration number and password during the registration process.
• Now, the main application form should appear on your screen.
• In the main application form, you need to provide your accurate educational, personal, and contact details.
• The details entered in the application form should be correct. Otherwise, your application form can get rejected.
• Some of the details that you need to enter in the application form are your date of birth, educational qualification, annual income, PAN Number, etc.
• Apart from this, it is also compulsory for all candidates to upload scanned images of their relevant documents in the application form.
• Next, you will have to pay the necessary application fee to confirm your application form submission.

Territorial Army 2023 Selection Process

• Once the application form submission process gets over, authorities will call eligible candidates for a written test.
• Then, those candidates who will clear the written test will be invited to take part in the interview to be conducted by the Preliminary Interview Board (PIB) by the respective Territorial Army Group Headquarters.
• Those successful candidates who will clear the Preliminary Interview will further undergo tests at a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for final selection.
• You should know that the number of vacancies of male and female candidates is determined as per organisational requirements.

Territorial Army Examination Syllabus 2023

Let’s have a look at the general syllabus for the written examination of Territorial Army 2023.

• Reasoning – Questions will be based on simple patterns of numbers, statements, figures, letters, etc.
• Elementary Mathematics – Arithmetic, Number System, Unitary Method, Elementary Number Theory,  Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Mensutration, Statistics, etc.
• General Knowledge – General knowledge including knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observation and experience in scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The paper will also include questions on history of India and geography of nature which candidates should be able to answer without special study.
• English – Questions are designed to test general working knowledge of a candidate in hindi language like use of words. Questions in English are from synonyms, antonyms, reading comprehension, Para jumbles, error spotting, jumbled sentences, sentence correction and fill in the blanks.

Result

• The result of the written test will be uploaded in online mode through the official website.
• Please note that there are sectional minimum cutoff marks in the written test.
• It is necessary for a candidate to score at least 40% marks in each part of the paper separately and an overall average of 50%.
• Candidates will be able to check their results by entering their roll number and other registration details.
• Those who will clear the written test will be invited for the interview.
