SSC JHT 2022: Staff Selection Commission will soon release exam notification for SSC JHT 2022. Every year, the Board conducts this entrance exam for the hiring of eligible candidates for the post of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translators and Hindi Pradhyapak, Senior Hindi Translators. It is expected that SSC JHT 2022 Paper I will be conducted in October 2022(CBE) and the applications for the same will available from 20th July 2022.

Eligibility criteria for SSC JHT 2022
In order to appear for SSC JHT recruitment exam 2022, applicants have to fulfill the important eligibility criteria laid down by the SSC. Those who will not satisfy the eligibility criteria are not allowed to write in the exam. The SSC JHT eligibility criteria 2022 are as follows:
Nationality
Indian nationals or a subject of Bhutan or a subject of Nepal or a Tibetan refugee who came here before 1st January, 1962 with intention to permanent settlement are eligible to apply.

Candidates can fill and submit the application for SSC JHT 2022 in online mode only through visiting the official website of conducting body i.e. http://ssconline.nic.in. Fill all the necessary fields of the application form carefully and rightly. Make the payment of Rs.100/-as necessary application fee through debit card/credit card, net banking or SBI challan.

Syllabus
The indicative syllabus for SSC JHT exam 2022 is given below:
- General English and General Hindi: Languages and Literature, Correct Use of Words, Phrases and Idioms and Ability to Write the Languages
- Translation and Essay: Two passages for translation- one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English
Admit Card
The admit card/ admission certificate for SSC JHT 2022 will be made available on the website of the concerned regional office. The time and table and venue of the exam will be mentioned on the admit card. The admit card will be released around 2 weeks before the exam date. The candidates who are not able to download their admit card 1 week before the exam must immediately contact the concerned regional/ sub regional office(s) of the commission with details such as registration ID, transaction ID of SBI, copy of Challan etc. The admit card along with an original and valid photo identity proof must be carried to the exam center.
Result
SSC JHT 2022 result will be announced in online mode and the candidates will be able to check it by visiting the regional office website. After the declaration of the result, the commission will draw a merit list containing the scores and rankings of the candidates in descending order of ranking and post it on its website. Personal details of the candidates will also be published such as name, father’s name, date of birth, etc. However, the candidates can opt this out at the time of filling of application form.
Selection Process
The candidates will be selected for different posts on the basis of performance in both the papers and the options provided by them. The reservation of the candidates will also be considered as per the set commission rules. The selection of the candidates will be a subject matter of fulfillment of eligibility criteria and document verification.
