Note:

  • In the General Engineering part of Paper-I & Paper-II, candidates will only need to attempt the part they have mentioned in the application form for e.g. candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil or Quantity Surveying & Contract) will need to attempt part-A of the General Engineering (civil & structure).
  • Applicants can bring their ruler, calculator, log table and such items for Paper-II only. These items will not be allowed for Paper-I.
  • Only those candidates will be allowed to appear for Paper-II who will qualify the Paper-I of the SSC JE exam.

General Intelligence and Reasoning : Space Visualization, Problem Solving, Analysis, judgment, Discrimination, Analogies, Similarities, Differences, Observation, Relationship Concepts, Arithmetical Reasoning, Verbal And Figure Classification, Decision Making, Visual Memory, Arithmetical Number Series Etc, Abstract Ideas And Symbols And Their Relationships, Arithmetical Computations, Other Analytical Functions.

General Awareness: Questions will be asked from the current events and matters of everyday importance for e.g. Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc

Technical Subjects: The questions will be based on the technical subjects studied during the graduation.
