SSC GD Constable Application Form 2022: Application fee, How to apply

The Staff Selection Commission organizes a recruitment test for the post of Constables (GD) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles on a yearly basis. The application form for the examination can be obtained from the official website www.ssc.nic.in . The recruitment process will consist of Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination and Medical Examination. The commission will release the SSC GD Constable application form in online mode.

Candidates need to apply early to avoid last-minute hassle. The application form will be available in online and offline mode. However, only the candidates from J&K, North-Eastern States and Left Wing Extremism (LWE) affected districts and Border districts of the country will have the choice to apply via on-line or off-line mode. SSC GD Constable Application Form 2022

  1. Candidates can avail SSC GD constable application form most probably from September 2022.
  2. Before filling the application form, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria specified by the authorities.
  3. Physical Standards Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET) will be scheduled and conducted by the CAPFs. Candidates can refer CAPF website for details on the PST/PET.
  4. Only the candidates who will qualify the PST/PET tests will be permitted to appear for the written exam (online + offline) conducted by the commission.
  5. Candidates can fill the form via online mode by visiting the official website of SSC.
  6. Candidate from the state of Jammu & Kashmir, North-Eastern states, Left-wing extremism affected areas will have the choice to fill the form through online or offline mode. Such candidates will have to provide the preferred mode of examination in the application form.
  7. For rest of the candidates, only online mode will be permitted for filling the SSC GD Constable Application form 2019.
  8. For the online application form, a candidate needs to keep a scanned image of photograph and signature in JPG format while filling the form.
  9. All the applicants will need to pay the application fee in order to submit their applications successfully.
  10. The forms/applications received without the payment will be considered incomplete and will liable to get rejected by the commission.

Application Fee

The candidates opting for whichever mode i.e. online/offline will need to pay the application fee to complete the application form submission. The women candidates, Ex-Servicemen and the reserved candidates are exempted from paying the application fee for the SSC GD Constable Application form 2022. However, other candidates need to pay Rs. 50/- for the same.

Mode of Payment:

  • Candidates can pay the required application fee via online mode (Debit card/ Credit card/Net Banking) or via SBI Challan.
  • Candidates from the state of Jammu & Kashmir, North-Eastern states, Left-wing extremism affected areas can pay the fee via online or offline mode (Through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps). The Central Recruitment Fee Stamps can be obtained from the departmental post offices of the country.

Note:

  • Fee Stamps must be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose and got cancelled from the Counter of Post Office with the date stamp.
  • After getting the Fee Stamps cancelled from the Post Office, a candidate must submit his application to the concerned Regional Office/Sub Regional Offices.
  • The fee stated above is Non-Refundable and can’t be claimed by a candidate for reimbursement.

How to fill the SSC GD Constable Application form 2022

Instructions to the candidates applying offline from J&K, North-eastern states and LWE affected districts and border districts

  1. Only blue/black ball pen should be used for filling the application form.
  2. Candidates need to fill the offline form very carefully as no correction will be permitted once the form is submitted successfully.
  3. Candidates need to paste 4 cm X 5 cm recent photograph on the space provided in the application form.
  4. Candidates need to provide their signature in the column specified for it. Application received without the photograph or signature will be rejected instantly.
  5. Candidates should provide the valid Email ID and phone number in the SSC GD Constable Application form to enable the commission for establishing future communication.

How to apply online for the SSC GD Constable Application form 2022

The online application can be broken into two part – Part-I for registration and Part-II for application form filling. Candidates need to follow the given instructions to fill the online application form for the SSC GD Constable Exam.

Part-I (Registration)

  1. The first step for registration is to visit the official website or click on the direct link available.
  2. Now click on the “apply” button at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the “GD-Constable” tab visible on the screen.
  4. Search for the “GD-Constable application form“link and click it.
  5. You’ll be directed to the registration cum application window.
  6. Click on the “new registration” link if you’re applying for the first time.
  7. Fill out the details on the registration form carefully.
  8. Check your Email ID or phone number for the registration ID and Password. Keep the details safe in case you want to apply for different SSC Exam in future.

Part-II (Application filling)

  1. Go to the “apply part” of the exam (refer point 1 to 5 of part-I registration).
  2. Enter your “registration number” and “password” along with the “security text” mentioned below it. Click “submit” button to proceed further.
  3. Fill the details asked in the application form such as Mother’s name, gender, religion, caste, address, educational qualification etc.
  4. Preview the details and make the correction (if needed).
  5. Now proceed to the application fee payment part.
  6. Enter the choice of fee payment mode i.e. online or E-Challan.
  7. Enter the bank details and pay the fee.
  8. Once the payment is done, click the “submit” button to make a final submission of the SSC GD Constable Application form 2022.

Now go back, and click on the “print application form” tab under apply part to print the form. Keep a printout copy of the submitted SSC GD Constable Application form 2022 for future use.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC GD Constable Exam
