SSC CHSL Result

SSC CHSL Result will be uploaded by the concerned regional/ sub-regional office of the commission on their official website. The result will be released separately for each tier of exam (tier I, tier II and tier III). The result will be uploaded only for the qualified candidates and will contain the name and the roll number of the qualified candidates. The score and rank of the candidates will also be released by the commission some days after declaration of the SSC CHSL Result 2022.

How to check the SSC CHSL Result?

  • Go to the official website of the concerned regional/ sub-regional office of the commission.
  • Go to the ‘result’ tab and select the exam name (CHSL).
  • The link to see the result will appear on the screen. The link for the result will also be provided to you on this page.
  • By clicking on the link, the result will appear on the screen in PDF format.
  • The PDF will contain the name of the qualified candidate, along with their roll number.
  • The candidates can search their name from the list using control + F.

Tier-wise SSC CHSL Result

  • The SSC Board will release the results of different tiers of exam conducted under SSC CHSL exam.
  • First, the result of the candidates who succeeded in tier I exam will be uploaded. Such candidates will only be eligible to appear for the tier II exam.
  • After the commencement of tier II exam, the result will be declared and only those whose names appear in the result list will appear for the tier III.
  • Lastly, on the basis of candidate’s performance in all the three tiers of exam, the final result will be announced.

Cut-off

The commission will decide separate cut-off marks for each tier of exam. The cut-off will also be different for different posts in the same tier. The candidates who score more than the cut-off marks in the respective tier will be considered for the next tier exam. However, the tier III (skill test) will be qualifying in nature. The candidates qualifying all the tiers will be called for document verification.

Score and Ranking

After the release of the SSC CHSL Result 2022, the commission will also upload the score and ranking of the candidate on its official website. Along with this, the other details of the candidates such as name of parents/husband, educational qualification, date of birth, category, gender, total marks in qualifying examination, complete address including e-mail address will also be published. However, the candidates who do not wish to get their complete details published publicly can opt this out while filling the application form.

Resolution of Tie

When ranking the candidates, if two or more applicants get the same rank, the following criteria will be applied for breaking the tie, one after another:

  • Total marks in Tier I + Tier II exam: Candidates with higher marks get higher ranking.
  • Total marks of Tier II exam: Candidates with higher marks get higher ranking.
  • Total marks in Tier I exam: Candidates with higher marks get higher ranking.
  • Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
  • Alphabetical order in which first names of the candidates appear.

Document Verification

The successful candidates will be called for the process of document verification. The candidates must bring all the relevant documents such as matriculation certificate, mark sheets, caste certificate (as per the applicability), etc in original at the time of verification. The photocopies of all the documents for submission must also be brought. The candidates who get all their documents verified will then have to indicate their preference for post/ ministry/ department.
