Tier-3 Complete Syllabus
The Tier-3 exam of SSC CGL is of Descriptive type where the written skills of a candidate will be analyzed. The exam will be in both the modes – Hindi and English. So a candidate can choose any of these two languages as per their convenience and comfort. The Topics asked under this written exam will be of general nature to know the candidate’s awareness about different issues and his/her writing ability. The paper will contain – Essays, Precise Writing, Application, Letter etc.
Tier-4 Complete Syllabus
Tier-4 exam of SSC CGL is known to be of Skill test and comprises of Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) respectively.
Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) – For the post of Tax Assistants in Central Excise & Income Tax, the typing speed on Computer required is Eight Thousand (8000) key Depressions per hour. However, a candidate is required to type Two Thousand (2000) key Depressions in 15 Minutes for the exam. Candidates must know that this Examination is of qualifying nature.
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) – This Test is also of qualifying nature and will comprise of 3 modules – Word Processing, Spread Sheet and Generation of Slides for the posts given below.
