SSC CGL result will be uploaded on the official website of the concerned regional office of SSC board. The SSC CGL exam is held in four different tiers and the result for each tier will be released separately. The candidates will be able to see their SSC CGL Result 2021 after the successful commencement of every tier. The final selection of the candidates for different posts will be done on the basis of their performance in all the tiers. The final selection will also depend on the confirmed number of vacancies from the concerned Indenting Ministries/ Departments/ Offices/ Cadres before declaration of result.
SSC CGL Result
- The candidates who have successfully appeared for the tier I exam, their result will be released on the official website. Such candidates will then have to appear for the tier II exam.
- Based on their performance in the tier II exam, the results of the candidates will be declared and the candidates will next have to appear for tier III exam.
- On the basis of the combined performance in both the tiers, the candidates will be shortlisted for tier III exam. The final result will be declared as per their performance in all the three tiers.
- The qualified candidates will then have to appear for skill test or document verification.
How to check the Result ?
- SSC CGL Result 2021for each tier will be released as per their specified schedule.
- The link to check the result will be made available on the official website.
- By simply clicking on the result link, the name of the qualified candidates along with their roll number will appear on the screen in a PDF format.
- The candidates can check their name or roll number form this list using control + F.
- Apart for the result, the marks obtained by the candidates will also be uploaded on the website in PDF format, few days after the release of SSC CGL Result 2021. The marks of the candidates will be released separately for different regions.
Cut-off
The cut-off for each tier of SSC CGL will be decided by the concerned authority depending on several factors such as number of vacancies, number of appearing candidates, difficulty level of the paper, etc. The candidates who successfully gain above the cut-off marks will be declared as qualified and their name will appear in the SSC CGL result 2021. The commission can fix separate cut-off for Paper III (for the post of JSO), Paper IV (for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer) and for Paper I + Paper II (all other posts) of tier II.
Preparation of Merit List
A merit list of the candidates will be prepared for those who clear all the three tiers of SSC CGL exam 2021. The list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks in these tiers and the post option exercised by them. The candidates will be invited to participate in the subsequent rounds (skill test/ document verification) as per the merit list.
Resolution of Tie
While preparing the merit list, the tie amongst the candidates will be resolved as per the following criteria, one after another:
- Total marks in Tier II exam: Candidates with higher marks will get better ranking.
- Total marks in Tier III exam: Candidates with higher marks will get better ranking.
- Total marks in Tier I exam: Candidates with higher marks will get better ranking.
- Date of birth: Older candidate will be placed higher.
- Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear
Skill Test
Based on their choice of post, the qualified applicants will have to appear for the skill test. Those candidates who do not require appearing for the skill test will directly report for document verification.
Document Verification
The applicants whose names appear in the merit list will have to report for document verification. The candidates failing to do so will not be considered for any post. The candidates will have to produce documents like matriculation certificate, educational qualification, caste certificate, and relevant documents, in original. Apart from this, copies of these documents will also be submitted. Information about the required documents will be provided while calling candidates for document verification.
