For filling up of various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations, Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination. The exam will be conducted in different tiers and final selection of the candidates will depend on their performance in these exams. SSC CGL 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed below to be eligible for SSC CGL 2022:
Nationality:
The candidates of following nationality are eligible:
- Citizen of India or
- Subject of Nepal or
- Subject of Bhutan or
- Tibetan refugee who has come to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settling or
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Educational qualification:
- For Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer: Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are eligible for these posts. Those with a Chartered Accountant/ Cost & Management Accountant/ Company Secretary/ M.Com/ Masters in Business Studies/ MBA (Finance)/ Masters in Business Economics degree are preferred.
- For Junior Statistical Officer: The applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics at 12th standard or bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
- For Statistical Investigator Grade-II: A bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with Statistics as one of the subjects in all the three years of the graduation is required.
- For rest posts: Applicants holding any bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent can apply for all other posts.
Age limit:
Different age limit has been prescribed for different posts under SSC CGL. A provision for relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per the following rules:

SSC CGL Application Form 2022
Application form for SSC CGL 2022 has been released through online mode ton 23rd January 2022. A link to obtain the application form will be provided to the candidates on the official website of SSC www.ssc.nic.in.
- In this application form, the candidates have to enter their personal & academic details like name, gender, category, qualifying exam passing year, marks obtained, etc.
- Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph and signature should be uploaded into the application form as well.
- Once the application form is filled, the candidates should check the details and if any error is found, should correct it at once.
- After providing all the required details, the candidates can submit their application online along with the specified application fee.
- A printout of the application form and fee payment receipt should be taken as a proof of successful application submission and kept safe by the candidates.

Payment of the application fee can be done online using net banking facility/ credit card/ debit card or offline using challan.

SSC CGL Admit Card
- The candidates can download their SSC CGL admit card 2022 by visiting the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office of the Commission.
- After downloading, a printout of the admit card should be taken by the candidates to be carried to the exam center.
- Details of the exam center and schedule will be communicated to the candidates through their admit card.
- Those who fail to report with the admit card and valid identity proof will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
- The admit card should be preserved by the candidates as it will be required at the time of document verification.
SSC CGL Result 2022
- The result of the SSC CGL 2022 exam will be announced as per the schedule decided by the authorities.
- Candidates will be able to check their result by visiting the official website of the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office of the Commission.
- Those who clear the different tiers of exam, their merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in these exams.

Do I need to appear for all papers of tier II exam?
Only for those candidates applying for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) need to appear for Paper III and those applying for Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer need to appear for Paper IV.
What documents can be carried as valid identity proof?
The candidates can carry any of the following documents with them along with the admit card to the exam center:
- Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar
- Voter’s ID Card
- Driving License
- PAN Card
- Passport
- ID Card issued by University/ College/ School
- Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU)
- Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book issued by Ministry of Defence

How can I provide my preference for post in SSC CGL?
The candidates will be asked to provide their preference for post in SSC CGL at the time of document verification.
Will the authorities release answer key for the SSC CGL exam? Can I submit my representations against the answer key?
Answer keys will be placed on the Commission’s website after the conduct of exam. Candidates can submit any representations against the answer key on payment of Rs 100/- per question within the time limit given by the Commission through online mode.
Can I ask for re-evaluation of score?
There shall be no provision for re-evaluation/ re-checking of the scores. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
