SSC CAPF Application Form: Registration, Form Filling Process

The Staff Selection Commission annually conducts CAPF exam for recruitment of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF. Candidates who want to be a part of Indian Armed police force should not miss this opportunity. Before proceeding for the application form, it is highly recommended to the candidates to ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria declared by the commission. Only eligible candidates will be permitted to appear for the exam.

Important Instructions

  • Candidates can start filling the application form from 14th August 2022.
  • SSC CAPF application form 2022 will only be available via online mode. Candidates need to visit the official website to fill the application form.
  • Candidates should check whether they qualify the eligibility criteria or not. Candidates who will not satisfy the criteria mentioned by the commission will not be permitted to take the exam.
  • Candidates will need to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature during the form filling process. Hence these images must be kept ready in JPG/JPEG format.
  • They will also need to pay a certain amount of application fee to complete their application submission. Applications received without the fee payment will be rejected.
  • Candidates should enter correct details in the application form as once it is submitted, no request for correction/editing will be entertained by the commission.
  • They should also make sure that the scanned images are not blurred/ ineligible.
  • Candidates should note down the registration ID and password for all other future exams which will be conducted by SSC.
  • Applicants ought to keep a printout of the filled application form for later purpose.
  • Applicants should fill the form before the closing date to appear for the exam to avoid unnecessary hassle.

Note:

  • The above application fee is Non-Refundable. Applicants cannot seek reimbursement of the same under any circumstances.
  • The payment of the application fee can be made via Two modes- Online or through E-Challan

For Online Mode: Credit card or Debit card or Net Banking is the acceptable payment method.

For Offline Mode: Challan of SBI Bank is the other mode for paying the required fee.

How to fill application form

Candidates should follow the given steps to fill the online SSC CAPF application form 2022 correctly. The SSC CAPF/CPO application form is to be filled in two parts- Part-I (Registration) and Part-II (Application form filling).

Part-I (Registration)

  1. Visit the official website or click the direct link available.
  2. Click on the “apply” tab at the top of the page.
  3. Now click on the “CAPF” tab to proceed further.
  4. Click on the “CAPF application form 2022” link.
  5. You’ll be directed to a new tab.
  6. Under the registration section, click on the “new registration” link (if you are a new user).
  7. Enter the registration details such as Name, father’s name, Email ID, Phone number and click on the “submit” button at the bottom of the page.
  8. Now check your Email or Phone number for message from the commission stating your Registration ID and password.
  9. Keep them safe for future purpose.

Note: Candidates who have previously registered for any of the SSC exams can use their OLD REGISTRATION ID and PASSWORD to fill the form directly. No new registration will be required in such case. However, if they’ve forgotten the details then they can retrieve them using “forgot Registration or password” link under the “Apply” part.

Part-II (Application form Filling)

  1. Go to the “apply part” of the exam (refer point 1 to 5 of part-I registration).
  2. Enter your “registration number” and “password” along with the “security text” mentioned below it. Click “submit” button to proceed further.
  3. You’ll land into the application form part; fill the details asked in the application form such as gender, religion, caste, address, educational qualification etc.
  4. Preview the details before moving forward. Make the correction (if needed).
  5. Now proceed to the application fee payment part.
  6. Enter the choice of fee payment mode i.e. online or E-Challan.
  7. Enter the bank details for online mode or for offline mode “download” the Challan.
  8. Once the payment is done, click the “submit” button to make a final submission of the SSC CAPF application form 2019.

Go back, and click on the “print application form” tab under apply part to print the form. Keep a printout copy of the submitted SSC CAPF application form 2022 for future purpose.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CAPF/CPO Exam

Given below is the brief version of the Eligibility criteria declared by the exam conducting authority that every candidate must satisfy in order to appear for the SSC CAPF/CPO recruitment exam. For the detailed version, candidates can refer to the page dedicated for it.

Nationality: A candidate must be the citizen of India or a subject to Bhutan/Nepal/Tibetan who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit: Applicant’s age must lie between 20-25 yrs.

Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess a bachelor degree or its equivalent from the recognized university.
