SBI SME Eligibility Criteria

Candidates, who apply for the posts of Special Management Executives (SME), need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as given below:

  • The minimum age of the candidates must be 25 years which should not exceed 40 years.
  • Candidates of the reserved category will be offered the age relaxation as per the rule.
  • They must have obtained a degree of CA / ICWA / ACS / MBA (Finance) or any other equivalent post graduation degree in Finance. C
  • Candidates must have gained a minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience as an executive in the same profile.

SBI SME Application Form

  • The SBI SME Application Form will be published online on the official website of State Bank of India.
  • Candidates need to fill in the details in the application form such as name, address, mobile number, valid email ID in the application form.
  • Candidates will be required to pay the application fee as well at the time of submission of the application form.
  • The application fee for the candidates of general category will be Rs. 600.
  • Candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/PWD/EX-SER/Females) will pay the application fee of Rs. 100.
  • Applicants can pay the application fee through the online mode (credit card, debit card or net banking) or through SBI bank challan.

SBI SME Admit Card

  • The SBI SME Admit Card will be issued to all the candidates who will submit the SBI SME online application form 2018 successfully.
  • Candidates will have to take admit card at the exam centre on the exam day.
  • Candidates will be informed about the date, exam timing, and the reporting time along with exam venue.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to take part in the SBI SME Exam without the admit card with them.

SBI SME Exam Pattern

  • The SBI SME Exam will be commenced online in two stages viz., Objective test and Interview/Group discussion.
  • The objective question paper will be comprised of questions having multiple choices for answers.
  • After qualifying the written test, candidates will be invited to take part in the Interview/Group discussion.

SBI SME Result

  • The SBI SME Result will be published on the official website of State Bank of India.
  • Candidates can download the result from the website.
  • Candidates need to provide the registration number/roll number in the valid fields on the result page of SBI’s website to get the SBI SME Result.

SBI SME Selection Process  

  • The selection of the candidates will depend on the performance of the candidates in the SBI SME objective test and interview/group discussion.
  • Candidates will have to qualify the objective test first and then they will be invited to take part in the interview and group discussion which is of 50 marks.
  • The final selections of candidates will be made on the basis of the merit list.
