State Bank of India is the authority responsible for organizing and managing the SBI Clerk 2022 recruitment process. The aim of this process is to select the suitable candidates for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre in State Bank of India. SBI Clerk 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for SBI Clerk 2022 are given below.

Age Limit

  • The age of a candidate should not be less than 20 and more than 28 years as on 1st April 2022.
  • Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1994 and not later than 01.04.2002.

Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to reserved category candidates as explained below.

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years
  • PWD (Gen/ EWS): 10 years
  • PWD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • PWD (OBC): 13 years
  • Persons domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989: 5 years
  • Ex-Servicemen/ Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Actual period of service rendered in defence services + 3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex- Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to max. age of 50 years.
  • Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried: 7 years (subject to maximum age limit of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC & 40 years for SC/ST candidates)

Educational Qualification

  • Aspirants must have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • Candidates who will appear for the final year examination in the year 2022 are also eligible to apply.

SBI Clerk 2022 Application Form

The application form for SBI CLERK 2022 will be made available in online mode only. Eligible candidates who want to apply may visit the application form through the official website. Complete details related to the application process are given below.

  • First of all, aspirants have to visit the official website and register themselves by providing some of their basic details like name, email address, phone number, etc.
  • Once registered, aspirants will get login credentials that they can use to sign-in to the portal.
  • Next, candidates may log in and fill the rest of the application form carefully.
  • Applicants have to provide their complete academic, personal, and contact details in the application form.
  • The details given in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, the application form can get rejected.
  • Apart from the details, candidates must also upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.

Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

SBI Clerk 2022 Admit Card

  • Once the application form submission process gets completed. Aspirants will be able to download their admit card/ call letter.
  • The information about the date, time, and venue of the examination will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • In order to download the admit card, candidates have to enter their registration numbers and date of birth.
  • No candidate will be permitted to take the examination without an admit card.
  • In addition to the admit card, candidates should carry their original photo ID proof at the time of the examination.

Question – 1: What documents do I need to carry at the time of the examination?

Answer: You must carry your admit card and one photo ID Proof (original and photocopy) such as passport/ Aadhar/ PAN Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/Identity Card issued by School or College/ Gazetted Officer in the official letter head in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof
