Candidates should be a citizen of India. In case of candidates who are the citizen of Bhutan or Nepal or a citizen from Bangladesh will be allowed to appear for the recruitment process only when they show a valid certificate which represents that they have permanent aim to settle in India.
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
- Minimum and maximum age of candidates should be 20 and 28 years respectively. Reserved category candidates may avail relaxation in upper age as mentioned below.

SBI Clerk Application Form 2018
The application form for SBI Clerk 2018 recruitment exam will be made available in online mode from the official website of State Bank of India. We advise aspirants to read the important instructions and eligibility conditions carefully before filling the form. After getting the form, the candidate should fill the important details correctly without attempting any mistake. - At first, go through the official website of the SBI i.e. sbi.co.in/.
- Click on the link “Apply Online Here” available on the page after the release of official notification
- After clicking the same link, a new application form window will appear.
- Now, fill in the form carefully and correctly.
- Upload a scanned copy of photograph and signature as per the given instructions.
- Candidates have to pay the requisite fee through challan or any Credit/ Debit Card or SBI Net Banking.
- After the successful payment, don’t forget to take the print of your application form.

The application fee is Rs.600/- for General and OBC whereas, Rs.100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category candidates. The amount will be payable in online mode only thru debit card, credit card and net banking.
Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern
SBI Clerk selection procedure includes three major stages including Preliminary, Main and Interview. Only those candidates will be eligible for appearing in the Interview who achieves the minimum qualifying marks in the Preliminary and Main exam.
Coming to the exam pattern of aforesaid stages, I would suggest you please go through the details mentioned below.
There will an objecting question paper consisting a total of 100 questions for 100 marks. The question paper will comprise three sections including English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The duration given to complete the Pre- exam is 1 hour.
The exam will be conducted in online mode for 2 hours 40 minutes. There will be 190 questions of 200 marks. Questions are subdivided into various sections including General English, General / Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude.
- The question paper will be available in Hindi as well as the English language.
- Deduction of 1/4th marks will be done for each wrongly attempted question.
