RRB NTPC 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Those who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed below can apply for RRB NTPC 2022 exam:
Nationality:
- Citizen of India, subject of Nepal or subject of Bhutan are eligible.
- Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India can apply too.
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible.
Educational criteria:
- Candidates who hold a graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for the posts of Commercial Apprentice, Station Master, Goods Guard, Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist, Senior Clerk Cum Typist, Senior Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Time Keeper and Traffic Assistant.
- A pass in class 12th or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required for the posts of Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk Cum Typist, Junior Clerk Cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper and Trains Clerk. 50% marks is not mandatory for SC/ ST/ PWBD/ Ex-servicemen candidates or those with qualifications higher than 12th pass.
Age criteria (as on 1st July 2022):
- The lower age limit for all posts is 18 years.
- The upper age limit for 7th CPC level 2 and 3 is 30 years and for level 4, 5 and 6, the limit is 33 years.
- A relaxation in upper age limit will be provided according to the rules given below.

Application Form for RRB NTPC 2022
The application form for RRB NTPC 2022 exam will be released on the official website of conducting RRB. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed above can proceed with the application process.
- In the application form, the candidates will be asked to provide their basic personal, academic, contact and other details.
- Photograph and signature of the candidates in scanned format should be uploaded in the application form.
- Choice for post and RRB unit should also be provided into the application form.
- Applicants should check all the details entered in the application form to avoid rejection due to incorrect information.
- Duly filled application form, correct and complete in all manners, can be submitted online along with the prescribed application fee.
- Upon successful submission, the candidates should take a printout of the application form and keep it with them for future correspondence.

RRB NTPC 2022 Admit Card
- The candidates will be able to download their admit card for RRB NTPC exam from the official website.
- To download the admit card, the candidates need to enter their registration number, date of birth, etc as required.
- After downloading, a printout of the admit card should be taken to be carried to the exam center.
- Along with the admit card the candidates should carry any of the following ID proof- Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, printout of e-Aadhaar, Driving License, PAN card, Passport, ID Card issued by the employer for Govt. employee, College/ University Photo ID card.
- Admit card distorted or damaged in any manner will not be considered as valid and therefore should be kept safe.
RRB NTPC 2022 Result
- The authorities will announce the result of the first stage exam on the official RRB website.
- Candidates who clear the first stage will be eligible for appearing in the further stages of the examination.
- Those who clear all rounds of exam will have to get their documents and eligibility verified.

Does everyone have to appear for the Typing Skill Test?
Only the candidates applying for the posts of Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper need to appear for Typing Skill Test.
Can I get my admit card through means of post and courier?
No. the admit card will only be released for download on official RRB website. Intimation regarding the availability of admit card might be sent on registered mobile number/ email id.
Does the RRB provides travel allowance for appearing in the exam?
Free Sleeper Class Railway Pass is admissible to SC/ ST candidates only. SC/ST candidates who wish to avail free travel authority will have to indicate ‘Yes’ in the relevant column in the application form and upload valid caste certificate.
Can a railway employee apply for RRB NTPC exam?
Yes. However, such candidates must obtain a NOC certificate from their employer and present it at the time of document verification.
