Candidates who have been aiming for years to build their career in the banking sector can apply online for RBI Assistant Exam. The official notification has been released now. What information candidates will be required to fill in the application form?

  • All the applicants who want to apply for the RBI Assistant Examination shall submit their personal information in the application form as their name, parents’ name, their local and permanent address etc.
  • Candidates shall also provide their contact information as their mobile number, phone number (landline) with area code and most importantly their email ID where all the further communications will be made by RBI to the applicants regarding RBI Assistant examination.

Details about Scanned Photo and Signature

Candidates need to have their photos and signatures scanned before they start filling the details in the application form as they will have to submit their scanned photo and signature while providing the details in the application form.

Details about Candidates’ Scanned Photo

  • Candidates’’ photograph must be a recent passport style color picture.
  • The picture of the candidates should be in color, against a light-colored, preferably with white background.
  • Candidates need to look straight at the camera with a relaxed face while the picture is taken.
  • If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows and if you have to use flash, ensure there’s no ‘red-eye’.
  • If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
  • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious head wear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
  • Dimensions of the photograph should be of 200 x 230 pixels (preferred) and the size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb.

Details about Scanned Photo of Candidates’ Signature

  • Candidates have to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen before getting scanned copy of their signature.
  • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
  • The signature will be used to put on the Hall Ticket and wherever necessary.
  • The Applicant’s signature obtained on the call letter and attendance sheet at the time of the examination should match the uploaded signature. In case of mismatch, the candidate may be disqualified.
  • Dimensions of the scanned photo should be of 140 x 60 pixels and the size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB.

Application Fee

  • Candidates shall make the submission of the online Application fee for RBI Assistant examination.
  • Candidates belonging to the general and OBC category will have to submit an application fee of INR 450 online while submitting the RBI Assistant application form.
  • Those, who belong to SC and ST category will submit examination fee of Rs. 50 as per the guidelines provided by RBI.
  • Staff candidates will be exempted from the Application Fee.
  • Bank charges if there is any, will be borne by the candidates themselves.
