Eligibility criteria

Interested candidates can check all the eligibility criteria for the post of LDC (Lower Degree Clerk)/Typist from given below details. If you have fulfilled entire eligibility criteria, you should fill the form very soon.

Education Qualification-

Bachelor Degree from any recognized university or institutions.
Good knowledge of computer or information technology and have completed the at least 120 hours course with hands and experience.
Applicant must have knowledge of Office productivity application or Desktop Publishing application from a Govt. recognized institution or any other reputed institution.

Applicant must have the Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of Department or Completed the Computer Courses (DOEACC) of Govt. of India.
Candidate must know the Punjabi language. All the candidates must be passed at least Matriculation or equivalent level.

Age Limit-

Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 37 years as per on 1/1/2018. There is some age relaxation, for the candidates of other than General category.

Relaxation in age limit-

- For SC and OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates – Those candidates who belong in this category get age relaxation of 5 years from the normal age limit.

- Physically Handicapped candidates- 10 years of age relaxation

Ex-Serviceman- Ex-Serviceman person from the armed forces get age relaxation depend on the terms & conditions.

PSPCL LDC/ Typist Recruitment How to apply?

Interested candidates can apply on the official website of the PSPCL. You can apply only online mode with English language only. There is no other mode for apply (like- offline line and handwritten submission). If manual/handwritten form received at the head office of the PSPCL, it will be rejected. It is must for all candidates to have a valid active email ID to complete the online registration of the application. All the details in the registration form must be correct. Candidate will be responsible for any wrong information on the registration form.

Steps to apply–

Visit the official website pspcl.in.
Go into the RECRUITMENT field and click on the link requirement for the post of LDC/Typist.
Read all the instructions carefully and right click on the checkbox for the Terms and condition agreement.
To apply, click on New Registration.
Fill all the information correctly for registration.
Upload recent photo in JPEG with maximum size 20-50 KB & signature with maximum size 10-20 KB.
Note down registration number & password for future reference.
In the final step of the registration, you have to submit the fee. You have to submit fee only in online mode. Click on make payment and fulfill all the desired fields with correct information, and submit it.
Now, your registration successful after full payment.

Selection Process

In selection process of final candidates, you have to qualify online examination first with maximum marks. For the General category candidate’s cutoff marks minimum 50% and for reserved candidates, it is minimum 40%. Name of the selected candidates declares on the basis of merit list of the examination marks.
