Aspirants, who are willing to apply for the aforesaid posts, must satisfy the required eligibility conditions which are given here:
Educational qualification
For Junior Engineer/ Electrical
- Candidates should possess full time regular 3/4 years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Computer Science/ Electronics/ IT engineering from an institute recognized by State/ Central Govt. with no less than 60% marks.
OR
- Candidates having full-time regular B.E/ B.Tech/B.Sc engineering degree in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics/ Computer Science/IT Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent qualification recognized by AICTE are eligible to apply.
Or
- Candidates holding AMIE in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics/ Computer Science/IT Engineering with minimum 50% marks from Institution of Engineers (India) Calcutta may also apply for the post of Junior Engineer/ Electrical.
For Sub Station Attendant (SSA)
- Candidates should have done a regular course in ITI /Electrical with at least 60% marks and 2 years apprenticeship experience in PSPCL.
OR
- A Regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering (full time) with at least 60% marks
OR
- A Regular Diploma in Electronics and communication (full time) with the minimum of 60% marks.
OR
- Candidates having a regular diploma in Instrumentation and process control with no less than 60% marks are eligible to apply.

Age criteria
The age limit for these posts will be 18 to 37 years as on 1/1/2018 and relaxation in age will be as per Govt. of Punjab instructions.
PSPCL Junior Engineer, Sub Station Attendant Recruitment Application form: How to apply?
Candidates can apply online through PSPCL website or through http://pspcl.in/recruitment/ link in English only. No other means/mode of application form submission including manual/offline will be accepted. Below, we have provided the step wise instructions to fill the application form:
Step 1: Registration process

- At first, visit the PSPCL official website i.e. www.pspcl.in

- Now, look for the “Recruitment” tab and click on “Recruitment for the Post of JE/ELECT & SSA against advertisement no. CRA 291/2017

- For registration, candidates need to accept the Terms & Conditions by clicking the checkbox & press ‘START’ button.

- Select the post for which you are applying and also enter details like candidate Name, Mobile No, and E-mail ID etc.

- On successful completion of Step-I, candidates will receive a User ID and Password on their registered email ID & mobile number.
- Note down these login credentials for future use
Step 2: Filling up the online application form
- After registration, log in again to the page to complete the online application form by entering Personal Details, Basic and Qualification details, upload Photo & Signature etc.
- Applicant should upload the scanned image of their photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- After filling the required details, candidates should preview the filled in application form by clicking the “Preview” button.
- Click the submit button for the final submission of application form.
Step 3: Payment of application fee
After the successful completion the Step-2, the candidates have to pay the necessary examination fee through online. The application fee detail for various categories is given below:

After the payment of application fee, the candidate has to keep the transaction reference number and copy of payment slip with them for future use.
Examination pattern
The authority will organize an online entrance test for recruitment of said posts. The exam will consist of 100 multiple choice objective type questions for 100 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong answer. The scheme of examination is given below:

Selection process
A merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured in the online test. On the basis of marks obtained in the online examination, candidates will be called for document verification.
