NLC Recruitment 2021 through GATE: ‘Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited’ (NLC) publishes the notification for the recruitment of various posts every year. The candidates, who are eligible, can apply for the posts published thru the official notification. ‘Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited’ (NLC) is ‘navratna’ company and it selects the candidates on the basis of the score attend by them in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
The recruitment will be for the posts of various disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Mining, Computer Science and Control & instrumentation Engineering. Eligibility Criteria: NLC Recruitment 2021 through GATE
Candidates must ensure the eligibility criteria before they apply for the posts. In the following points, candidates can get all the details about the eligibility criteria:
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- The age of the candidates must not be more than 30 years as on December 1, 2021.
- Candidates, who are in the final year of the examination, will also be eligible to apply for the posts.
- Candidates must have the score card of the GATE to be eligible to apply for the posts vacant in NCL.
- Candidates, who are in the final year of the examination, must collect their provisional certificate of the degree.

Application Form: NLC Recruitment 2021 through GATE
Candidates will have to apply for the post thru the application form. Candidates can fill the application form according to the guidelines given in the following points:
- The NLC Recruitment application form will be available online on the official portal NLC.
- In the application form, candidates will have to provide all the details such as their name, address and the details of the educational qualification.
- Candidates won’t be able to fill and apply for the post with more than one application form.
- Except that, candidates will be required to give the details of their communication such as valid email ID and the mobile number.
- Candidates will upload the scanned photo and the signature in the application form.
- There will be an application fee of 300 which candidates will have to pay.
- The application fee can be paid by the applicants thru the credit card, debit card or net banking.
- Candidates can pay the application fee thru the SBI challan also
- After submitting the NLC application form, candidates can take the printout of the application form for further reference.
NLC Recruitment through GATE Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of the score attained by them in the GATE. The selection board will make the merit list on the basis if the score of the candidates. The shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear for the personality test thru the email or phone. The personality test will include the group discussion or personal interview or both.
Group Discussion/ Interview
At the time of personality test, candidates will be required to take some documents along with them which are given in the following points:
- Birth Certificate (or) SSLC/Matriculation mark list
- Provisional/Degree Certificates
- Consolidated/Semester-wise mark statements
- GATE Score Card
- Community Certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority for OBC(NCL)/ SC/ST categories)
- Disability Certificate, clearly indicating the type of disability (in case of PWD)
- Discharge Certificate (if Ex-Servicemen)
- No objection certificate (in case working in PSE / Govt. / Quasi Govt.)
- Self-certified translated copy of SC/ST/OBC/Disability certificate, either in English or Hindi, in case the same is in a language other than English or Hindi
- Any other documents as specified in call letter
- Note: Applicants should not send hard copy of Registration-cum-Application Form (or) any documents/certificates in original.
