Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test or MP SET 2023 will be conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. The aim of this examination to determine the eligibility of the candidates looking to work as Assistant professors and lecturers in the universities/ colleges in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Eligible candidates who are looking to apply must fill the online application form before the last date. It is also compulsory to submit the hard copy of the documents after applying online. MP SET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before starting the application process, aspirants must make sure that they meet the following eligibility criteria.

  • The candidate must have completed post-graduation with at least 55% marks. (50% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates of Madhya Pradesh)
  • Those students who will appear for the final year exam of post-graduation in the year 2023 can also apply.
  • Candidates who have earned Ph.D. degree before 19th September 1991 will also get a relaxation of 5% marks.
  • There is no upper age limit to apply for MP SET.

MP SET 2023 Application Form

The application form of MP SET 2023 has been released in online mode only. Those candidates who are looking to apply can access the application form by visiting the official website i.e. https://mppsc.mp.gov.in/.

  • The link to start the online application will be available on the homepage of the official website itself.
  • In the application form, aspirants are required to enter their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
  • All the details in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, authorities may reject the application forms.
  • Apart from the details, candidates are required to upload the scanned images of their following documents.
    • Photograph of the candidate
    • Signature
    • 10th class mark sheet
    • 12th class mark sheet

    • Domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh

  • After submitting the form, candidates are required to pay the necessary application fees.

Application Fee

The application fees for the candidates of different categories are as follows:

  • SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates of Madhya Pradesh: Rs. 250/-
  • All other candidates: Rs. 500/-

Mode of Payment: The application fee should be paid online using a credit card, debit card, and internet banking.

The pattern of MP SET 2023 examination is explained below.

  • Mode of examination: Online (Computer based examination)
  • Number of papers: Paper I and Paper II
  • Number of questions: 150 (50 questions in paper I and 100 questions in paper II)
  • Type of questions: Objective type multiple choice questions
  • Duration of exam: 3 hours (1 hour for paper I and 2 hours for paper II)

MP SET 2023 Result

  • Soon after the exam, candidates will be able to check their results online.
  • Please note that the authorities will not send individual score cards to the candidates by post or by any other offline medium.
  • Along with the result, the commission will also publish the merit list of the candidates shortlisted.
  • Please note that only those candidates will be shortlisted who will score more than cutoff marks.
