KVS Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must make sure that they meet the following eligibility criteria before filling out the form. Please note that the eligibility criteria are different for various posts.

Age Limit

• Primary Teacher (Music) – up to 30 years
• Primary Teacher – up to 30 years
• Librarian – up to 35 years
• Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) – up to 35 years
• Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) – up to 40 years
• Vice Principal – 35 years to 45 years
• Principal – 35 years to 50 years

Education Qualification

KVS PGT Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
• B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium.

KVS TGT Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
• B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Pass in the CTET Paper II by CBSE or appear in CTET.
• Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English media.

KVS Primary Teacher Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. or
• 10+2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). or
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education. or
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
• Candidates must have passed Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Govt. of India

KVS Answer Key 2023

KVS answer key will release at the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)-https://kvsangathan.nic.in. KV Sangathan will first release the answer key of preliminary exam followed by the answer key of final exam.

KVS 2023 Result and Selection Process

• KVS will declare the result in two stages after the completion of the written exam.
• The result will be declared online through the official website of KVS.
• To check the result, aspirants will have to provide their registration details.
• Those candidates who will clear the written test will be invited to take part in the KVS Interview.
• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by candidates in the written exam and merit list.

Question – 1: Is CTET necessary to apply for KVS Recruitment 2023?

Answer:  CTET is not mandatory for PGT post. However, CTET Paper-1 is required for the PRT posts and CTET Paper 1 for TGT posts.
