KSET 2022: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Patter

The University of Mysore will be inviting applications from the eligible candidates for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test 2022 (KSET 2022). It is a state-level exam organized to test the eligibility of the candidates aspiring to be a Lecturer or an Assistant Professor in a college or university in the state of Karnataka. This exam will be conducted in 39 different subjects at eleven nodal centers across Karnataka. The application form will be submitted only in online mode. KSET Application Form 2022

  • The application form for KSET 2022 exam will be available only in online mode.
  • Candidates have to register themselves using an Email Id and Phone number.
  • The candidate needs to enter all the personal, educational and contact details in the application form.
  • The applicant will be required to upload a scanned passport size photo in JPEG format with a maximum size of 300 KB.
  • The application fee for KSET 2022 needs to be paid in KSET account from the KSET website or the nearest branch of SBI.
  • Then after the two working days from the payment of application fee, candidates have to download the application form on an A-4 size paper and submit it to the respective Nodal center chosen by the candidate.
  • The application fee for different categories are as follows:

KSET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must have a UGC recognized Master’s degree in the subject opted for KSET with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
  • Candidates appearing or already appeared in the final year exam of Master’s degree can also apply, but they have to clear the Master’s degree with required percentage within 2 years time from the date of KSET 2022.
  • Candidates, who are qualified for in the previous KSET exam in any subject, will not be allowed to apply for the KSET exam this year in the same subject again.
  • No upper age limit to appear in the exam

KSET 2022 Exam Pattern

KSET 2022 exam will be held in two sessions and will be consisting of 3 papers. Only objective type multiple choice questions will be asked. The detail of the exam is given in the table below:

Note: Paper 1 will consist of questions from general teaching and Aptitude and Paper 2 & Paper 3 will have the question from the subject selected by the candidate.

KSET 2022 Admit Card

In order to download the admit card, candidates have to log in to their accounts with registered email id and password after the two working days from the date of application fee payment. It is mandatory for the candidate to bring the hard copy of the admit card on the day of examination. Neither KSET center nor the Nodal centers will issue the separate admit card.  Candidates can check their seating arrangement from the KSET website, 15 days prior to the exam.

KSET Result 2022

The result of KSET 2022 will be published on the official website i.e. www.kset.uni-mysore.ac.in . To check their result candidates have to enter their login credentials. Candidates are advised to keep the printout of the result until the selection procedure is completed.
