Eligibility Criteria
Basic criteria
- Only Indian nationals can apply.
- Candidates should have obtained a valid GATE Scores in Mechanical/ Physics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Applicants appearing in the final year may also apply provided they have to produce final results by the specified date;
Age criteria
The age of candidates (general category) should not be more than 26 years i.e. candidates who are born on or after August 1, 1991 tentatively can apply. Age relaxation will be applicable to candidates belonging to reserved category i.e. SC / ST / OBC / PHP (PwD) etc. as per Government of India Orders.

IPR Recruitment 2021 through GATE Application Form: How to apply?
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online probably from May 2021 through the official website of conducting body. However, in order to be eligible to apply for the said post, one has to qualify the GATE exam with a valid score. The GATE score will be valid for 3- years. The application process of IPR Recruitment through GATE will include various steps as mentioned below:
- At first, open the official website of IPR.
- Now fill the online application form with all required details.
- After filling the details and submitting online application, the applicant will be provided with an Application ID.
- They need to print two copies of the Application Form after submission and have to sign on one copy.
- Candidates need to paste the printout slip comprising Application ID, address, etc. on the envelope to be used to send the application form
- The candidates also have to attach a passport size photograph on the right-hand corner of the duly filled application.
- The additional documents of Qualification certificate, Age proof, caste certificate and the copy of GATE result must be affixed with the application form and sent to the following address

Application fee and mode of payment
- Candidates from General and OBC category have to pay Rs 200 (Non-Refundable).
- For SC/ST/PWd applicants there will be no fee.
Mode of fee payment:
Applicants can make online payment through Internet banking (SBI) / Credit / Debit Card (Master or Visa approved).
Note: The print out of the slip of fee payment should be attached with the application form while sending it as a proof of payment.
Selection process
The authority will invite the shortlisted candidates for interview. The list of shortlisted candidates will be announced online on the website. The selected applicants after the preparation of the merit list will be shortlisted for personal interview. The final selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of their performance in the personal interview subject to medical fitness.
Those who have qualified GATE exam in the year 2021 are eligible for the post. Based on candidate’s GATE score and merit list rank candidates will be selected for aforesaid posts.
