IBPS SO: Specialist Officers exam is conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in order to recruit candidates for the post of I.T. Officer (Scale- I), Marketing Officer (Scale I), Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I), Law Officer (Scale I), Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I) and HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I) in its participating organizations. Interested and eligible aspirants can obtain its application form November and exam will be organized in Jan.

Citizenship Criteria
Candidates should meet with one of the following citizenship criteria:
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Or
- A resident of India, Or
- Tibetan refugees are eligible who came to India before 1st January 1962 for settling permanently.
- PIO (Person of Indian Origin) category students who are migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zaire and Vietnam.
Age Criteria
Minimum- 20 years and Maximum- 30 years (as on 1st November)
Minimum Educational Qualification As On 10th December

Syllabus
Based on the paper pattern, contents of IBPS SO syllabus has been designed. The mentioned exam is among highly competitive exams of India and therefore it is strongly advised to applicants to prepare for the exam by following the prescribed syllabus of the test. IBPS SO Admit Card
Admit card would be available to download for candidates in online mode only. Aspirants looking to appear for this exam and successfully completed the application procedure are essentially required to obtain their respective admit card. Please keep one copy of your admit card preserve till the admission process would be completed.
Cutoff Details
IBPS decides the cutoff of IBPS SO based on numerous factors i.e. number of candidates appears in the test, complexity level of the exam, previous year cutoff, number of vacancies etc. Cutoff for General and reserved category candidates will be different from each other.
IBPS SO Result
Result of IBPS SO exam in the year is expected to be announced in the month of February, 2017. After declaration of the result, applicants who cross the cutoff will be called for attending the Interview procedure.
