IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is the respective authority which organizes IBPS RRB exam every year for the recruitment of Group “A”Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B” Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in several Regional Rural Banks across India. Eligibility criteria for IBPS RRB 2022

Nationality Criteria

Candidates should fall one of the following categories:

  1. A resident of India or
  2. A subject of Nepal or
  3. A subject of Bhutan or
  4. A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in
    country or
  5. A person belongs to Indian origin but migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit

  • Officer Scale-III: Candidates should be above 21 years of age and below 40 years.
  • Officer scale II: Candidates should be above 21 years of age and below 32 years.
  • Officer scale I: Candidates should be above 21 years of age and below 32 years.
  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): The age of a candidate must lie in between 18 years and 28 years.

Essential Qualifications

Post Qualification Experience
Office Assistant (Multipurpose) A recognized degree in any discipline or its equivalent.

Candidates having degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering, Veterinary Science, Pisciculture, Information Technology, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy would be given preference.

II> Have proficiency in local language as notified by the participating RRB/s

III> Computer skills

 

Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer) A recognized degree in any discipline with an aggregate marks of 50%.

Candidates who hold degree in Banking, Marketing, Finance, Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering, Veterinary Science, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Management, Information Technology, Law, Economics and Accountancy would be given preference.

 

Two years of working experience as an Officer in Bank or Financial Institution.
Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers) IT Officer: A recognized degree in Electronics / Communication Information Technology/ Computer Science or its equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks.

Desirable: Candidates having certificate in ASP, PHP, Java, C++, VB, OCP, VC etc.

Chartered Accountant: Candidates should have obtained Certified Associate (CA) degree from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Law Officer: A recognized degree in Law or its equivalent with securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Treasury Manager: MBA in Finance or CA from ICAI

Marketing Officer: A recognized MBA degree in Marketing

Agricultural Officer: A recognized degree in Agriculture/ Dairy/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Forestry/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture with an aggregate of 50% marks.

IT Officer: 1 year

CA: 1 year

Law officer: Having two years of experience as an advocate or worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period of minimum two years of experience.

Treasury Manager: 1 year

Marketing Officer: 1 year

Agricultural Officer: 2 years

 

Officer Scale-III A recognized degree in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate.

Preference would be given to candidates who hold Degree/Diploma in Banking, Marketing, Finance, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Pisciculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Management, Information Technology, Law, Economics and Accountancy

IBPS RRB 2022 Application Form: How to apply?

Candidates are advised to read the important instructions carefully before applying. The application form for IBPS RRB 2022 will be available from July 2022 onwards tentatively. One can apply by using the official website of IBPS https://www.ibps.in.

Pre-requisites to Apply Online

Please have the following things ready before you apply online:

  • Scan your signature and photograph;
  • Signature marks in Capital Letters will not be accepted;
  • Keep the details for online payment ready;
  • Keep a personal email ID as further communications with the authority will be made through this only;

Candidates can check some important instructions about IBPS RRB 2022 from below:

  • Eligible candidates are permitted to apply for both Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer Post.
  • Applicants should note that they can only apply for the single post in officer’s cadre.
  • They have to apply for each post separately.
  • To complete the application process, candidates have to pay 600/- (100/- for SC/ST/PWD/ category) as a necessary fee.

Exam Centers

  • IBPS RRB entrance exam is to be held online at various centers located across the country.
  • IBPS holds its right to cancel any of the exam centers depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.
  • Candidates will appear for the exam at their own expenses. IBPS will not be responsible for any loss or damage.
  • No requests for change in the exam will be accepted and entertained by IBPS.

Admit card

The authority will release the admit card online mode only through the official website after the successful completion of application process. The hall ticket/admit card will be issued for both Preliminary and Mains Examination separately. All those who qualify the pre-exam successfully will receive the admit card for IBPS RRB admit card

Result

IBPS will announce the results after the successful completion of each stage for both Assistant and Officer Grade. Candidates have to qualify the preliminary round in order to appear in Mains Exam. The final merit list will be published after the announcement of Main results.
