IBPS will be conducting online exams to select the candidates for the posts of Office Assistants (Multipurpose) and Officers scale I, II and III in participating regional rural banks (RRBs). The interested candidates can fill their application form in online mode from 8th June 2021. Candidates are suggested to make sure they fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for IBPS RRB 2021 exam. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in online exam followed by an interview (if applicable).

IBPS RRB 2021 Major Highlights
- Selection for the post of Office Assistant will be done on the basis of preliminary and main exam.
- The candidates applying for Officers scale I will have to appear for interview round along with preliminary and main exam.
- For Officers in Scale I and Office Assistant, provisional allotment shall be restricted within the RRBs of the State opted for.
- For posts of Officer Scale II and III, the candidates will have to appear for main exam and the interview round.
- Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees separately for each post they wish to apply.

IBPS RRB 2021 Application Form
The candidates will be able to apply online for IBPS RRB 2021. Candidates should note that they can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre. However, they can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the post of Officer.
- In the application form, basic personal and academic details of the candidates will be asked.
- Photograph, signature and left thumb impression of the candidates in scanned format should also be uploaded in the application form.
- The candidates will have to scan a hand written declaration and upload in the application form.
- After providing all the details as asked in the application form, the candidates can submit it with application fee.
- A hard copy of the duly filled application form should be taken and kept safe for future reference.
Application fee
- The application fee for general/ OBC candidates will be Rs. 600/- and Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
- Submission of fee can be done online by using debit/ credit cards/ internet banking/ IMPS/ cash cards/ mobile wallets.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2021
The following eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates applying for IBPS RRB 2021:
Nationality:
The candidates should be either of the following:
- A citizen of India
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age limit (as on June 1st, 2021):
- For Office Assistant: The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 28 years.
- For Officer Scale I: The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and maximum age should be 30 years.
- For Officer Scale II: The lower and upper age limit for the post of manager is 21 years and 32 years.
- For Officer Scale III: The lower and upper age limit is 21 years and 40 years respectively for this post.
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given as follows:

Qualification:
- For Office Assistant and Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager): The candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent.
- Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer (Manager)): The candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Experience of 2 years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution is also required.
- Officer Scale II (Specialist Officers (Manager)):
- Information Technology Officer: The candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Electronics/ Communication/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is required.
- Law Officer: Degree in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required.
- Treasury Manager: Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance degree is required.
- Marketing Officer: The candidates should have done MBA in Marketing.
- Agricultural Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is necessary.
- 1 year experience in the relevant field (2 years for law officer) is also mandatory.
- Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks along with an experience of 5 years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Admit Card
- The candidates will be able to download their admit card for appearing in the RRB online exam from the official IBPS website.
- The basic details of the candidate and the exam center details will be mentioned on the admit card.
- The candidates should take out a copy of the admit card and carry it to the exam center along with a photo id proof.
- Entry into the exam hall will not be granted in the absence of a valid admit card or identity proof.
- No admit card will be sent to the candidates through post or courier.
Result & Selection
- Candidates will be able to check the result of preliminary and main exam from the IBPS website.
- The candidates who clear both exams will then be invited for interview round (only for officer’s scale).
- Such candidates need to download their call letter for interview and report for the same as per the schedule and center mentioned in the call letter.
- Candidates must also carry all their important documents at the time of reporting for interview.
- After successful verification of documents and qualifying the interview round as well, the candidates will be granted provisional allotment.
- For the post of Office Assistant, provisional allotment will be granted on the basis of candidate’s performance in main exam.
