There are three stages of the Engineering service Examination and when one stage is cleared by the candidates, they apply for the next stage and those who successfully qualify the interview or the final stage of the examination are appointed in the various departments of the Indian government on the posts of civil, mechanical or electrical engineer.
Important dates about the ESE result
The examination of the Engineering service is held in January 2021 and the result is out for that in the month of March 2021.
Between the times, a candidate has to appear in all the stages of the engineering service examinations conducted by UPSC.
The candidates who qualify the second stage of the written examination are called for the interview/personality test and after calculating the total of all the three stages of the examination UPSC announces the name of all the successful candidates in the month of December.
