DRDO Recruitment 2021 through GATE Application Form

Eligible candidates will be able to apply for DRDO recruitment 2021 through GATE in online mode only. Candidates have to fill up the form and submit the scanned copies of required certificates in online mode. Here are few important information about DRDO online application form:

• Candidates would be asked to upload the scanned copy of certificates in the prescribed format.
• They must retain a copy of duly-filled application form along with acknowledging slip which will be generated after locking of the online application form.
• Applications, which are completed and submitted in the accurate format, will be only considered valid.

List of Self Attested Copies That Need to Be Attached Online

• Certificates/testimonials related to the qualifications along with mark‐sheets, ex‐servicemen, caste, employment etc. The maximum size of the attachment must not exceed 500 KB. Therefore, candidates are instructed to scan the certificates/testimonials in 200dpi grey scale.
• Valid score card of GATE in 2019 or 2020.
• If you are in Government service or working under a Govt. owned organizations then you also need to submit your application online directly to the Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC). Candidates of this category have to upload a signed declaration according to the proforma available at the official website of RAC.

Application Fee (May Be Changed For This Year)

Candidates of General/OBC category have to make the payment of a non-refundable non-transferable application fee of Rs.100/-. The application fee is required to be paid in online mode only. If you belong to SC/ST/PwD/Women category then you are exempted from paying the fees.

Selection of Candidates Based on GATE Score

The first selection criterion is qualifying marks in GATE. In the absence of your GATE exam score, you can’t participate in the recruitment procedure.

Personal Interview

The authority will now issue admit card to all shortlisted candidates for participating in the counselling procedure. To become qualified in the Interview process, candidates belonging to UR/OBC category has to score at least 70% marks (60% in case of SC/ST/PwD).

Final Merit

After completion of the Interview process, the authority will release final merit list by combining the performance of candidates in GATE exam and interview.
