Eligibility Criteria
Following are the minimum eligibility norms for appearing in CTET September:
Eligibility for Primary Stage Teacher (Class I-V)
- 50% marks in senior secondary or its related examination and appearing or passed candidates of two years Diploma in Elementary Education programme. Or,
- 45% marks in senior secondary or its related examination and appearing or passed students of two years Diploma programme in Elementary Education according to NCTE regulations 2002. Or,
- 50% marks in senior secondary or its related examination and appearing or passed candidates of 4 years duration B.El.Ed programme. Or,
- Candidates who obtained 50% marks in senior secondary or its related examination and appearing or passed two years duration Diploma in Education (Special Education) programme. Or,
- Candidates having recognized Bachelor’s degree and passed or appearing two years duration Diploma in Elementary Education programme.
Eligibility for Elementary Stage Teacher (Class VI-VIII)
- Bachelor’s degree along with passed or appearing students in two years duration Diploma in Elementary Education programme. Or,
- 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree along with passed or appearing aspirants of one year duration B.Ed programme. Or,
- 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree along with passed or appearing aspirants of one year duration B.Ed programme according to NCTE norms. Or,
- 50% marks in Senior secondary or its equivalent exam along with passed or appearing candidates of four years B.El.Ed programme. Or,
- Secured 50% marks in Senior secondary or its equivalent exam along with passed or appearing candidates of four years B.Sc.Ed/ B.A or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed programme. Or,
- Obtained 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree along with cleared or appearing in one year duration B.Ed (Special Education) programme.

CTET September online application form will be accessible through its official web portal i.e. www.ctet.nic.in. Before starting the application session, please keep scanned copy of your photograph and signature and a copy of the class Xth certificate with you.

Validity Period of CTET Certificate
Your obtained CTET certificate is going to be valid for seven years from the date of publication of its result. There are no age criteria for appearing in CTET exam.
Admit Card
Probably, you’ll be capable to download your admit card in the month of September 2018. However, we have provided this date based on previous years’ CTET notification which is subject to be changed after the release of CTET September notification.
