CTET Admit Card- How to Download, Link to Download, When to Download?

The Admit Card for CTET Exam has been released on the official website i.e. ctet.nic.in. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the admit card now. The admit card will only be released for those candidates who have successfully done their registration on time.

Kindly keep in mind that apart from being available online, no other medium well be entertained by the CBSE to send the CTET admit card 2020 to the candidates. It is the sole responsibility of the candidates to download their admit cards and keep it safe until they receive their eligibility certificate.

In case, the admit card is not received by candidate a week before the day of commencement of the exam, the candidates must intimate the same to the relevant authority as soon as possible. The candidates must make sure that the confirmation page is generated after they complete their registration process so that their chances of not receiving the admit card are minimized.

The CTET admit card is a very important document to be carried to the exam center and it will contain the details of exam center, as well the basic details of the candidates such as roll no., name, etc. The applicants without a valid admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Have a look at few important information regarding CTET admit card:

  • Please verify details provided on your admit card. Let the concerned authority know quickly about discrepancies in the admit card.
  • You should report at the exam center 90 minutes before the commencement of exam.
  • You need to bring an original photo ID along with your admit card.
  • The morning session would be from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and the evening session would be from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Date for Releasing CTET Admit Card 2020

CTET exam December 2019 will be held on 8th December 2019. Currently, the authority has not notified the date for downloading the admit card. The admit card is likely to be available two or three weeks before commencement of exam. The admit card can be downloaded by successfully registered candidates only. If you are not able to download your admit card or found errors in your documents then intimate the authority quickly regarding the same.

Follow the procedure given below in order to download your admit card:

  • You need to visit the official website of CTET @ctet.nic.in.
  • Choose the admit card link.
  • You’ll be prompted to enter your registration number and date of birth.
  • Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  • View and download the admit card for future reference.

  • Candidate’s name, signature, and photograph;
  • Registration number

What to Bring Along with Admit Card?

You need to bring the following along with your admit card:

  • One of the photo identity proofs (Aadhaar card/PAN card/Passport/Votor ID card/Driving Licence/Ration card and Pen etc.
  • Two passport size photographs
  • Blue/Black ball point pen

Do not carry the following

  • Do not bring any stationary item such as papers, printed or written textual things, plastic pouch, Geometry/Pencil box, Scale, calculator, Pen Drives, Writing Pad, Log Tables, Eraser, Cardholder, Electronic Pen/Scanner etc.
  • Communication devices such as Mobile phones, Earphones, Bluetooth, Microphone, Health band, Pager, etc.
  • Any Watch/Wristwatch, wallet, Camera, handbags, goggles etc.

General Instructions related to CTET Admit Card

  1. The applicants should download the admit card by visiting the official website and appear in the exam at the examination center as mentioned in their admit card.
  2. The candidates must make sure that there is no discrepancy in the admit card. In case of any kind of discrepancy found in the CTET Admit Card, the candidates should immediately contact the CTET unit for the necessary corrections.
  3. The applicant should read the instructions printed on the CTET admit card very carefully and must follow them during the exam.
  4. Only the downloaded copy of the admit card (and not photocopy) will be considered valid. The candidate will not be allowed inside the examination hall under any circumstances if he/ she is unable to present a valid admit card in front of the Center Superintendent.
  5. The admit card will also be checked inside the exam hall by the invigilator to verify the identity of the candidate.
  6. The date and time of the commencement of the exam will also be mentioned on the admit card.
  7. The candidate should carry these items in the exam hall, along with the admit card:
  • Blue/Black Ball Point Pen of good quality
  • One Photo ID proof among any of the following:
    • PAN Card
