CG TET 2024: Chhattisgarh Government is going to organize Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test in March 2024. The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board will conduct CG TET for the recruitment of primary teachers (Class 1^st to 5^th) and upper primary teachers (Class 6^th to 8^th) in the government and private schools of Chhattisgarh.

Eligibility Criteria

For Paper I – Primary Teachers (Class 1^st to 5th):

• Candidates should have done Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with no less than 50% marks.
• Applicants appearing in two- year Diploma in Elementary Education and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education can also apply.
• Candidates who possess 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) are eligible to apply.
• Aspirants who hold 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) can apply for the exam.
• Applicants with having a valid B.A/B.Sc. degree or a B.Ed. degree with no less than 50% marks can also apply.

For Paper 2- Upper Primary Teachers (Class 6^th to 8^th)

• Candidates who possess B.A./B.Sc./D.Ed with scoring at least 50% marks are eligible to apply
• Applicants who passed or appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/ Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/four – year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.Sc.Ed/1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)/ B.A.Ed can also apply.

CG TET Application Form 2024

The applicants who want to appear in CG TET 2024 must fill and submit their application form as per scheduled date. The details of CG TET 2024 application process is listed below:

• The interested and eligible candidates needs to fill their application forms online through visiting the official website at cgvyapam.choice.gov.in
• They have to first register themselves with providing some basic details such as valid mobile number and email id.
• After the successful completion of registration, login credentials will be sent to candidates.
• By using the same, candidates can access and fill the application form.
• Fill up the application form carefully with correct details and upload the recent passport size photograph and signature as per the given specifications.
• Make the payment of applicable fee and update the transaction details
• Before final submission of the form, verify the details once.
• Take a printout of the duly filled in application for future reference

• For Both papers: Rs 550/-

OBC Category

• For single paper: Rs 350/-
• For Both papers: Rs 450/-

SC/ST Category

• For single paper: Rs 300/-
• For Both papers: Rs 400/-

Examination Pattern

For paper 1 (Primary Teacher)

The duration of exam will be 1 ½ hours. The paper will consist of 150 questions for 150 marks. The distribution of marks and questions in each subject is provided below:

Admit card

Candidates can download the admit card of CG TET 2024 from the official website 15 days before the commencement of the entrance examination.

To download the admit card they have to provide the registration number or the application number. The candidates should bring the valid copy of admit card while appearing in the examination hall.

Result

The authority will release the result of CG TET 2024 within few days after the entrance examination gets over. To check and download the result, applicants need to visit the official website and enter their roll number in the given field.
