CG TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria depend upon the paper in which the candidate is looking to appear.

Paper – I (for class 1st to 5th teacher)

  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 exam with a minimum 50% marks. Or
  • Must have cleared the 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks and 2-years training in elementary education under the National teacher educational council. Or
  • Must have cleared the 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks and 4-years elementary education training. Or
  • Should have a bachelor’s degree and must be studying in the final year of 2 years diploma in education.

Paper – II (for class 6th to 9th teacher)

  • Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with 2 years diploma in education. or
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. or
  • Candidates having a graduation degree and a B.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks as per the National Teacher Education Council are also eligible. Or
  • The aspirant must have passed the 12th class with at least 50% marks and should have a 4 years diploma in elementary education.

CG TET 2023 Application Form

The authorities will release the application form for Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 in online mode through the official website i.e. vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. Given below is the complete application process in detail.

  • To initiate the application process, candidates have to register on the official website i.e. vyapam.cgstate.gov.in.
  • In order to register, aspirants need to provide their basic details including name, email address, phone number, etc.
  • Once registered, the candidates may log in and fill the detailed application form.
  • All the details in the application must be authentic otherwise the candidature might get rejected.
  • Apart from the details, candidates should upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph, thumb impression, and signature. The format of the file should be JPEG.
  • Next, the candidates have to pay the necessary application fee using online methods.
  • After submitting the form, applicants should take a printout of the same for future requirements.

CG TET 2023 Admit Card

  • The admit card will be made available around 1 week prior to the exam date.
  • Candidates will be able to download the admit card by entering their 15 characters registration ID.
  • The information about the date, timing, and venue of the examination will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • It is compulsory for all the candidates to carry a hard copy of the downloaded admit card at the examination centre.
  • Keep the admit card safe even after the examination for future requirements.

CG TET 2023 Result

  • Before the result declaration, the board will also release answer keys of the exam on the official portal.
  • After the answer keys, CPEB will declare the result by providing a link on the official website.
  • Candidates will be able to check their result by entering their roll number.
  • In order to qualify the exam, it is important for the aspirant to score at least 60% marks.
  • Those who will score more than the qualifying marks will get TET certificate from the board.

    • Please read the brochure. However, as per my point of view an additional qualification like D.El.Ed, B.Ed etc also required along with Graduation to apply.
