UGC NET Answer Key 2021: The exam conducting authority will release the answer key of the UGC NET on the official website ntanet.nic.in. The UGC NET Answer Key 2021 is released for June 2021 session exam. In addition to the answer key, the captured image of the answer sheet will also be uploaded. The provision for challenging the answer key is also provided by the authorities.
Importance of the Answer Key
The main purpose to provide the answer key is that the candidates can get an estimate of their marks before the declaration of the final result. In this way, they can get a rough idea of whether they will be able to clear the exam or not. However, the candidates must keep in mind that the answer sheet is just for basic reference and the final result will be declared by the concerned authorities only.
How to download the UGC NET Answer Key 2021?
- The link to view and download the answer key along with the answer sheet (OMR sheet) will be made available on ntanet.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘View-Challenge Answer Key and Recorded Response on OMR Sheet’ button that appears on the screen.
- A new page appears in which the candidates will be prompted to enter their application number and password.
- Now, you can view the answer key and your OMR answer sheet on the screen.
Loss of the question paper/ test booklet
The candidates are allowed to carry the test booklet along with them. When the UGC NET Answer Key 2021 is released, the candidates can match the question from the booklet to their answers in the key. But, what if you lost your answer paper? Not to worry, because just like the answer key, the question paper of the UGC NET will also be made available on the official website.
- Click on the link UGC NET on the website ntanet.nic.in.
- All the details related to the exam will appear on the page. Click on the relevant link for the question paper.
- A new tab will open prompting you to provide the Exam Name (NET in this case) and Question Paper (Paper 1 or paper 2).
- List of question papers will appear and the candidates can select the link related to their subject.
- The question paper in a PDF format will appear on the screen.
Challenge to the UGC NET Answer Key 2021
CBSE accepts any kind of challenge to the UGC NET answer key or the response sheet. The candidates not satisfied with the answer key or the captured image of their answer sheet can challenge them by filling an online application form. The application form for the same will be made available on the official website. A link for challenging the answers will also be provided on the official website. An amount of Rs 1000/- per question needs to be submitted too. The fee submission can be done via debit card or credit card.
If the challenge of the candidate is accepted and is found to be true, the fee will be refunded to the concerned account. No fee will be refunded in any other case. The decision in regard to the challenged answer key will be made by the CBSE and will be considered as final. A final answer key will be prepared and released on the basis of the accepted challenges. No grievance related to the answer key will be accepted after the final declaration of the result.
UGC NET Result 2021
The result of UGC NET will be announced on the official website of the NTA on the basis of the final answer key. After the declaration of the result, the marks of all the candidates will also be uploaded on the website. Those qualifying the exam will be considered for the award of Junior Research Fellowship and will also be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.
