Bihar TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates looking to apply for the Bihar TET 2023 exam need to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below.

Nationality

• The candidate should be a citizen of India.
• Aspirants should also possess a domicile of Bihar

Bihar Teacher Age Limit

• The minimum age for all the categories is 21 years.
• On the other hand, the maximum age depends upon the category of the applicant as explained below.
  • Male candidates: 37 years
  • Female candidates: 40 years
  • OBC: 40 years
  • SC/ ST candidates: 42 years

Educational Qualification

The candidates should note that there will be two different papers for primary and upper primary level teachers. The educational qualification required depends upon the paper in which the candidate is going to appear.

Paper – 1 Primary level teacher

• Hindi – Bachelor’s degree in Hindi + B.Ed.
• Urdu – Bachelor’s degree in Urdu + B.Ed.
• Sanskrit – Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit + B.Ed.
• English – Bachelor’s degree in English + B.Ed.
• Maths – Bachelor’s degree in Maths, Physics, & chemistry + B.Ed. Or B.Tech with Mathematics + B.Ed.
• Science – Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, Botany, & Chemistry + B.Ed. or B.Tech with Science + B.Ed.
• Social Studies – Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Economy and Polity + B.Ed.

Paper – 2 Upper Primary level teacher

• English – Post-graduation with English + B.Ed.
• Mathematics – Post-graduation with Mathematics + B.Ed.
• Physics – Post-graduation with Physics + B.Ed.
• Chemistry – Post-graduation with Chemistry + B.Ed.
• Zoology – Post-graduation with Zoology + B.Ed.

Bihar TET 2023 Application Form

The Bihar teacher application process will begin with the release of the official Bihar TET notification. Interested candidates should check the instructions given below in order to apply in a hassle-free manner.

• First of all, the candidates have to visit the official website of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).
• After that, aspirants need to click on the official link to begin the registration.
• Then, in the main application form, candidates have to provide their details including name, age, date of birth, etc.
• The details that you will enter in the application form should be accurate otherwise the form might get rejected.
• Next, the aspirants have to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
• While filling details in the application form, candidates must choose the paper i.e. Paper – I or Paper – II for which they are going to appear for the exam.
• The confirmation page will be generated after submitting the form. Candidates should keep a copy of the confirmation page safe for future references.

Mode of payment: The fees can be paid online using a credit card/ debit card or internet banking. Alternatively, candidates can also pay the fees offline by downloading the bank challan.

Admit Card

• It is expected that the authorities will release the admit card 10 to 15 days prior to the examination date
• An admit card comprises information related to timings, date, and address of the examination venue
• Candidates have to provide their roll number and date of birth in order to download the admit card.
• It is important to carry a photo ID proof along with an admit card at the time of examination.

Bihar TET 2023 Result

• It is expected that the board will declare the Bihar TET result 2023 within a month of the exam.
