For Paper I:
Any of the following degree is required:
- Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- Senior Secondary scoring at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE
- Senior Secondary with not less than 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
For Paper II:
Any of the following degree is required:
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
- Graduation with minimum 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE

Assam TET 2023 Application Form
- The application form for Assam TET 2023 can be filled by visiting the official website of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Assam ssa.assam.gov.in.
- Basic personal and academic details of the candidates will be asked in the application form.
- The candidates also need to upload their photograph and signature into the application form in scanned format.
- After all the details are entered into the application form, the candidates can submit it along with the prescribed fee.
- An application number will be generated after successful submission of application that should be kept safe by the candidates.
- A hard copy of the duly-filled application form should also be kept by the candidates.

- The application fee is expected to be Rs. 325/- for general category candidates and Rs. 300/- for reserved category candidates.

Admit Card
- The admit card to appear in the Assam TET exam will be published on the official website.
- Candidates can download the admit card using their application details and after downloading, should take its printout.
