Assam Judicial Services Exam 2022: The Guahati High Court at Guwahati (The High Court of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh) issues the official notification to recruit the candidates for the posts of Grade—I and Grade—III of the Assam Judicial Service. Those candidates, who have completed their graduation degree in law, can apply for the recruitment process.

Assam Judicial Services Application Form 2022

Candidates, who are eligible, can apply for the examination thru the online application process. The details of the online application process have been given in the following guidelines:

• The online application form will be available on the official website of the Gauhati High court which is http://ghconline.nic.in.
• In the application form, candidates will have to fill all the details such as the name, address and the details of the educational qualification.
• Candidates will also upload the scanned photo and signature in the application form.
• Candidates will pay the application fee also thru the online mode.
• The application fee can be paid thru the credit card, debit card or net banking.
• It is advised to all the applicants to save the application form after registering online.

Assam Judicial Services Eligibility Criteria

It is also necessary to fulfill all the parameters by the applicants to be eligible for the examination. The details of the Assam Judicial Services exam eligibility criteria have been given below:

• Applicant must be a citizen of India.
• He must have acquired a bachelor degree in law from a recognized institute or university.
• The age of the candidates must be less than or equal to 35 years.
• The candidates of the SC and ST category will get 3 years relaxation in their upper age.

Assam Judicial Services Exam Pattern

• There will be two stages of the Assam Judicial Services Exam, the pre-exam and Main
• The Main exam will consist of the written test and interview.

Details of the Pre-exam

• Preliminary Examination will be the first part of the examination.
• The pre-exam will be of 100 marks.
• The questions in the exam will be from the topics given below:
• Indian Penal Code
• Code of Civil Procedure
• Code of Criminal Procedure
• Indian Evidence Act
• Constitution of India
• Transfer of Property Act
• Contract Act
• Limitation Act
• Accommodation Control Act
• Court Fees Act
• Specific Reliefs Act
• Registration Act
• Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code.

Details of the Main Examination

• After clearing the pre-examination, candidates will get the opportunity to appear in the main examination.
• The main exam will be of 100 marks.
• The questions in the main exam will be of objective nature with multiple choices.

The questions in the main exam will be as according to the pattern given below:

• Framing of issues and writing of Judgment in Civil Cases (Maximum Marks-40)
• Framing of charges and writing of Judgment in Criminal Cases (Maximum Marks-40)
• Translation:- (1) English to Hindi – Maximum 10 marks (2) Hindi to English – Maximum 10 marks

Viva-Voce / Interview

• The last part will be the interview/viva-voce.
• Only the successful candidates will be called for the viva-voce who qualifies the main exam.
• The interview will be of 15 marks.

Assam Judicial Services Exam Admit Card 2022

• The admit card for the Assam Judicial Services Exam will be available the official website of the commission.
• Candidates can download the admit card thru the official website and take the printout of the same.
• All the candidates will be required to carry the admit card with them at the examination center to ensure their entry into the examination hall.

Assam Judicial Services Exam Result 2022

• The result of both stages of the examination will be published on the official website of the Gauhati High Court.
• The High Court will announce the results separately for the pre and main examination.
• Candidates can check the result of the examination by providing the appropriate information on the official website.
