Assam Civil Services Exam 2022: Application Form, Eligibility, Selection Process

Assam Civil Services Exam 2022: The Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) is conducted by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) every year for the all the eligible candidates to apply for the Assam Civil Services Exam. A candidate, who has completed his/her graduation from any recognized institute or university, can apply for the Combined Competitive Examination.

Candidates, who succeed the exam, are appointed to the range of posts of administrative departments of Assam like deputy collector, DSP or on other various posts in the revenue and other services. Assam Civil Services 2022 Eligibility Criteria

There are some points of the eligibility criteria which each candidate need to fulfill to be eligible to apply for the ‘Assam Civil Services Examination’.

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • He must have completed the graduation or any other equivalent three years’ degree from a recognized institute.
  • The age of the applicants should not be less than 21 years and should not exceed 38 years.
  • The candidates of reserved categories will get relaxation in the upper age.
  • The age relaxation for the candidates of SC and ST category will be 5 years.
  • The OBC category applicants will get the upper age relaxation of 3 years.

Assam Civil Services Application Form 2022

All the eligible candidates can fill and submit the Assam Civil Services Application Form online.  Candidates can fill the application form as according to the guidelines given below;

  • The Assam Civil Services Application Form will be available on the official website.
  • Candidates will have to fill all the compulsory information in the application form such as the name, address and other communication details such as phone number and valid email ID.
  • Furthermore, candidates will also give the information about the educational qualification as what percentage of marks they have got in the bachelor
  • Hereafter, candidates also need to upload the scanned photo & signature in the application form.
  • Consequently, candidates will pay the application fee thru the credit card, debit card or net banking.
  • Candidates are advised to take the printout of the application form for future reference.

Assam Civil Services Exam Pattern

There will be two stages of the examination and candidates have to qualify each part of the examination separately. Here are the details about all the stages of the Assam Civil Services Examination. The Pre exam will be the first stage of the exam and the second stage of the exam will be Mains Exam. The main exam will include the written test and the interview. The details about the Assam Civil services examination have been given in the following description.

Preliminary Examination

The pre exam will be comprised of the questions from the topics as given here.

  • The Main Examination will consist of a written Examination and a viva-voce test.
  • Every question paper in the written examination will be of 3 hours duration.
  • The questions of the Main Examination will be conventional essay type.

Combination of subjects which are not allowed to be taken together

Candidates will not be allowed the following combinations of subjects to choose from their optional subjects in the main examination.

  • Anthropology & Sociology
  • Mathematics & Statistics
  • Philosophy & Psychology
  • Agriculture & Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
  • Of the Engineering subjects not more than one subject

Viva-Voce / Interview Test

The candidates are interviewed by a Board which takes into account their academic career. The marks scored in the interview are added to the marks scored in the written examination (Main) and the rankings of the candidates are determined on the basis of the total marks obtained.

  • Candidates who are declared qualified in the Main Examination shall be summoned for a viva-voce test.
  • The viva-voce test will carry 200 marks with no qualifying marks.

Assam Civil Services Admit Card 2022

  • Candidates will be able to download the admit card for the pre-examination after they successfully apply thru the application form.
  • There will be separate admit cards for the separate level of examination viz. Pre and Mains.
  • It will be necessary for all the applicants to bring the admit card at the examination center or else candidate’s candidature will be canceled.

Assam Civil Services Exam Result 2022

  • The result of the Assam Civil Services Exam will be declared thru the official website.
  • Candidates will get the result of the examination separately viz. Prelims, Mains, and interview.
  • After the interview is conducted, APSC will announce the final year result.

    • To appear for APSC, the percentage of your Board exams like X, XII or Degree do not count. You just have to pass those exam to qualify to write APSC.

    • Hi..Dhonti , age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years…. means your age limit is 30+5=35 years…

    • Apsc aspirant there age should be start from 21 to 30 yrs to appear this exam and there are 5 times can attempt for ST and 3 times attempt for obc.
