Eligibility Criteria for JIIT PGCET

The eligibility for JIIT PGCET may vary for different PG courses. Generally, Candidate must have done a bachelor of technology (B.Tech) in the respective stream with valid marks.

JIIT PGCET Application Procedure

JIIT PGCET Application form will accessible through both online as well as offline mode. Candidates must have visit official website i.e. www.jiit.ac.in in order to download the application form or they can buy the application form through cash payment from Registrar, JIIT, A – 10, Sector – 62, Noida – 201307. Candidates are recommended to fill the application accurately. Then applicants have to attach their current photograph and signature in the application form and also the required documents such as educational mark sheets. After filling up the application form, applicants have to pay the application fee

JIIT PGCET Application fee:

Application fee for online application is Rs. 650 and for offline application it is Rs 700/. The fee payment can be done through online or offline.

Online fee submission should be paid via Credit / Net banking/ Debit card.

Offline fee submission should be paid via Cash or Demand Draft in favor Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida / Delhi

Applicants have to send the copy of the duly filled application form to the given address

Note: There will be separate application forms to be submitted for GATE candidates and candidates who want to appear for the JIIT PGCET.

JIIT PGCET Examination Pattern

  • The duration of the exam is 120 minutes
  • The exam will be for 100 marks
  • The paper will comprise total 50 questions and each question is for 2 marks
  • There will be negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer

JIIT PGCET counseling process

Candidates who have been short-listed on the basis of GATE scores will be invited for counseling as per the prescribed schedule.

Candidates who are qualified in the JIIT PGCET will be invited for counseling to fill the vacant seats only post admissions given to the GATE aspirants

JIIT PGCET selection process:

Seat selections will be made exclusively on the basis of the Merit Ranks of the applicants – GATE or JIIT PGCET score card.
