How to check Jharkhand B.Ed Result 2021?

Candidates need to visit the official website of the JCECE Board in order to check their entrance exam result. The step by step instructions to see the result are provided below:

• Go to the JCECEB website jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and then click on the Result tab.
• You will be asked to select the name of the exam for which you want to see the result (select B.Ed in this case).
• A direct link to check the result will also be provided to the candidates on this page.
• You then need to provide your roll number in the specified column. Enter the same and click on the ‘View Result’ button.
• Your Jharkhand B.Ed Result 2021 will appear on the screen. Download the result and take its printout for future reference.

Steps to download OMR answer sheet

Apart from checking the result, the candidates will also be able to download their OMR answer sheet from the JCECEB website. Follow the steps given below for the same:

• On the official website of JCECEB jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in, click on the Result tab.
• Select the name of the exam for which you want to download the OMR answer sheet (B.Ed in this case).

Preparation of Merit List

• After the declaration of the result, the authorities will prepare a merit list of the qualified candidates.
• The list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test in the order of ranking.
• Category-wise merit list as well as a combined merit list will be prepared.
• Proper tie-breaking criteria will be applied while making the list in case two or more students score equal marks.
• Candidates will be invited to take part in the further selection round as per their names in the merit list.

Resolution of Tie

While preparing the merit list, if two or more candidates obtain same score, the following tie breaking rules will be applicable:

• Candidates with higher score in the qualifying exam will be given priority.
• In case of equal marks in qualifying exam, candidate having a NCC ‘C’ or NSS certificate will be given priority.
• If the tie still persists, candidate who is born earlier will be given priority.

• Once the process of result declaration and merit list preparation is done, the selection process will begin.
• Candidates will be invited to attend the counseling session where they will be able to provide their choice for college.
