Candidates aspiring for admission in diploma programs of Engineering/Technology and Architecture offered through JEXPO should familiarize themselves with the JEXPO exam pattern. The exam will be conducted by West Bengal state council of technical & vocational education & skill development to select the candidates for different diploma courses offered by polytechnic colleges/institutes affiliated to it. Candidates will be given the admission based on their performance in the exam. A fair amount of applicants take this exam every year but only a few get through it. Therefore, students must study for the exam strictly according to the JEXPO Exam pattern 2021 and syllabus associated with it.
Given below is the complete JEXPO exam pattern with the help of which candidates can prepare an effective strategy to crack the exam-
- Exam Mode: Offline mode (Pen and Paper based)
- Exam Duration: The duration of the exam is 2 Hours for each paper
- Type of Questions: The questions asked will be of Objective types (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Total No. of Papers: Two i.e. one for Mathematics and the other for Physics and Chemistry subjects.
- Number of Sessions: Both the papers will be organized on the same day but in different sessions i.e. Morning and Evening respectively.
- Negative Marking: There will be no provision of negative marking.
- Use of Pen: Only Black/Blue ballpoint pens are allowed

JEXPO 2021 syllabus
After going through the JEXPO exam pattern 2021, candidates should know that the syllabus for the exam will be as per the level of class 10th. Candidates should study the relevant subjects taught to them in their secondary examinations. The questions in the exam will be strictly based on the syllabus prescribed for class 10th.
