JEE Advanced 2022 exam schedule has been announced, the application process will begin from 8th August 2022 in online mode. The exam will be conducted by IIT Bombay this year. JEE Advanced 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants must meet the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for the JEE Advanced 2022 examination.
Performance in JEE Main 2022
- The candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E/ B.Tech Paper of JEE Main 2022.
Age Limit
- Aspirants must have born on or after 1st October 1997. SC/ ST/ PwD candidates must have born on or after 1st October 1992.
Number of Attempts
- A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
Educational Qualification
- The candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as a compulsory.
- Please note that aspirants should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination either in the year 2021 or 2022.
Earlier Admission at IITs
- Candidates must not have been admitted in an IIT irrespective of whether they continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting at a reporting centre in the past.

JEE Advanced Application Form 2022
The application form for the JEE Advanced 2022 examination will be released in online mode only. Those who want to apply may go through the steps below in order to apply.
- In the first step, candidates have to register through the official website i.e. https://jeeadv.ac.in.
- At the time of registration, aspirants need to provide some of their basic details including phone number and email address.
- After that, candidates are required to log in using the sign-in credentials generated at the time of JEE Advanced registration.
- In the main application form, aspirants have to provide their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
- The details entered in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, the application form can get rejected.
- Apart from the details, candidates are also required to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
- All the candidates are also required to pay the necessary application fee.
- It is recommended to take a printout of the application form submitted for future requirements.
JEE Advanced Documents requirement
The following documents must be uploaded on the application form.
- Class X certificate if the date of birth is mentioned in it or birth certificate.
- Class XII (or equivalent examination) certificate (for those who appeared for this examination in 2021/2022 or whose Board declared the Class XII (or equivalent examination) result after June 2020).
- If the name is not the same as in Class X certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name.
- GEN-EWS certificate (FORM-GEN-EWS) should have been issued on or after April 01, 2022 in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.
- OBC-NCL certificate (FORM-OBC-NCL) should have been issued on or after April 01, 2022 in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.
- Caste (for SC) or tribe (for ST) certificate (FORM-SC/ST), as per the latest guidelines of the Government of India.

Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or Net banking. Alternatively, the fee can also be submitted offline through a bank challan.
Admit Card
- The admit card for the JEE Advanced exam 2022 will release in online mode only through the official website.
- In order to download the admit card, candidates have to provide their registration number and other details.
- The information about the date, time, and venue of the examination will be mentioned on the admit card.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card. Also, it is necessary to carry a copy of a photo ID proof at the time of admission. Any one of the following ID proof is acceptable Aadhaar Card, School/College/Institute ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Notarized Certificate with Photograph.
- Keep the admit card safe even after the examination as it will be required at the time of the admission.

Counselling
- Those candidates who will clear the JEE Advanced 2022 exam have to appear for the JoSAA counselling.
- At the time of JoSAA registration, candidates are required to select the respective course and IIT.
- After the select allotment, aspirants will have the options to accept, change, or reject the allotted seat.
